hmmm... new pavement ... smooth as a baby's butt down in the middle of 1 and 2, where the huge bump from the underground tunnel used to be.... tons of grip.... hhmmmmm......

Racing surface being widened extra 20 feet is only in the reconfigured portion around the turn 1/2 reconfiguring of the banking. Makes a pretty big difference

Sucks repaving these tracks. At least Atlanta the drivers seem to have won and they are leaving it alone now. just hurts the racing when they do this. Which nascar does not need right now obviously. But this tracks drainage system was total garbage, so they had to it I guess

seriously, a few years back he drifted low and took himself out of the race buy hitting a drainage grid on the front stretch....

there were only 1-2 feet beneath the yellow there, and he practically ripped his front end off, caught fire and everything...

When I am sleeping closer to US time, going to sleep in the afternoon and waking up about midnight here, I sometimes fire up the bbq in the morning and crack a beer or two.

I was just speculating from past repaves, this could be diff I guess but I'm not expecting much
