Whose doing a Last Man Standing Contest?

I joined the Station Casinos, a Las Vegas conglomerate, College Contest. I only do one entry, b/c the entry fee money serves a better purpose on straight bets. The spreads you choose from are posted on Wednesday, and are fairly stale lines. I do not recommend making picks based on line discrepancies. Just pick your favorite play, and see what happens.


I will post my picks for the duration of the contest, or until I lose.

Ok on to week two.
I have two games that stick out. Utah St +14, and Maryland +2.5. Both are games I will bet, although not sure which to use for the contest. Both picks are ML worthy IMO.

Week 2 Pick and info.

There is a $53,000 in guaranteed prize money for the winner, and 2,600 initial entries. Now week 2 has seen the entry numbers be cut in half to 1,200. They put the lines out on Wed. so many of the lines are stale. I took Utah +4.5. Love the backup QB for them, along with in-state rivalry-home-dog angle.

I will report back on how many people are left, but B4 Saturday there were only 486 of the 2,600 initial entries left. Dogs coming in has killed off the contest entries.

Survivor pools, and other contest are getting killed with favs not covering. Refs in the NFL, and the commonly overrated trash(Oklahomo) not covering is making way for the dog bettors(me).
