I can understand if it is not a catch on the field, but they overturned it.

That was a complete f*ck job by the replay official.
Indisputable evidence? Needed to REVERSE the call???
He had the ball the whole time, it never moved, his elbow hit the ground with the ball still not touching the ground, his hands and arm were UNDER the ball.
How can the announcers not say ANYTHING about that call afterward? The award for Player of The Game should go to the replay official!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ball clearly touched the ground. How could you not have seen it when they replayed it in slow motion like 100 times

It CAN touch the ground so long as the hand and / or arm are under it and the ball does not move.
INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE TO OVERTURN THE RULING ON THE FIELD???????????????

Lol, great call by the refs.
There were two reasons I saw to call the pass incomplete.

Lets see them. The ball did not move. That is the whole thing. Hand was under the ball. Elbow hit the turf first before ball touched the ground.
State your two reasons. Go.

honestly you guys need to learn to take the loss.
he didnt catch the ball cleanly and the floor moved the ball, as far as im concerned that is enough to over turn it.

Why would the game be rigged for Michigan to win? The public was all over Michigan. If the game were rigged, it would've been rigged for VT to win.

The ball was caught with one hand and was secured immediately. The football did touch the turf, but posession was secured beforehand so that is irrelevant.

It looked like the ball moved slightly...ever so slightly, after hitting the ground. There was a similar play in the Iowa/Michigan game this season. Essentially, the exact same thing happened, and it was replayed and determined to not be a catch.

Regardless if its a public sided, things still get rigged.

stick to watching the 76er's. That would of been a catch if you were playing outside with your friends, but at the NCAA/NFL level that will never be a catch. Unless a rule change of course.
I accepted my loss, you should too.

sorry bro, he didnt secure anything with ONE hand. both hands were on the sides of the ball as it hit the ground and ground cannot assist in making the catch. easy call.

It was the NCAA, not Vegas.
Michigan needed a shot in the arm. BIG BRAND name in the NCAA is "back".
Michigan shouldnt have even been there, they lost to Mich State, Mich State won their division and played in the Big 10 Championship game.
The Big Ten needed a boost after their pitiful showing yesterday.

You are blind if you think the ground didn't assist in that non-catch or you just don't want to believe it.

i don't give a shit about either team...and i don't think either deserved to be there. this is part of the problem with ncaa tho...officials and replay officials never have to answer to anyone. i have seen a close call like that not changed many times because it was not 100% clear...and then i have seen closer calls than that overturned and everyone watching the game scratching their head. i have seen game after game decided by officials this season, and nobody cares. and for the dude asking how the espn guys didn't say anything...they say what they get paid to say man. they have become posers who take whatever stand the network tells them to. i often mute the games when watching, and i would pay big money for the device that would filter out the commentator voices and just leave the game sound. everyone on that network trying to force a biased opinion on you every second of the day, and now they do it during the games as well. if they were so ******* smart some school would be paying them big money to coach, which they all want. instead they sit and talk down on coaches and players all day...and when this is done about college kids it is pathetic. anyways...i have pretty much lost all respect for espn this year, and i think ncaa football is going down the toilet fast. too much money involved.

you can press the SAP buttons a few times, it will go to spanish(if available) then french(if available) but it eventually goes to just the game sound with no language at all. At least it does for me.
