    Iowa +13.5
I'm not betting against my alma mater but I don't see how this play loses. Iowa always plays well in bowls and OU typically comes in uninterested.

I have a feeling Iowa will be pumped up to play OU.

On the other side, how can OU care about this game? OU was pre-season #1 and this team had national title aspirations. At the very least, OU probably thought they were going to win the Big 12 and goto a BCS game. I expect OU to be flat.

Also, OU will be without two starting WR's in Ryan Broyle and Jaz Reynolds. Our other WR Kenny Stills has been hanged up too. Couple that with the fact that our running game has struggled since our starting RB tore his ACL and I'm worried.

Here is a breathtaking stat! Since Broyles has gotten injured, Landry Jones has not thrown a TD pass! Yes, even that shit Baylor defense did a decent job holding us down.

If OU was completely healthy I think it would be hard for them to cover. With the injuries coupled with the downer of being regulated to the Insight Bowl, I'm concerned if we're even going to win.

I think Iowa will turn it into a slow paced, ugly, slugfest type game. I hope I'm wrong though. It would be awesome for OU to stomp them. We'll see how motivated they are.

If you were thinking about taking OU, I wouldn't do it.

Nail on the head...Oklahoma doesnt wanna be here. They started the season as the fav to be playing for the National Champ. but ended up in the Insight Bowl. 3 big losses: Texas Tech, Baylor and then Oklahoma State...giving up 41, 45 and 44 respectively. Thats an ATS setback of 32, 23 and 30.5 pts in their 3 losses as favorites. They look lost without RB Broyles and now that WR Whaley is out its another kick when theyre down.

Iowa - however - has been outstanding in Holiday play covering 6 of their last 7, including 5 outright upsets. Been an up-and-down team whose longest win-streak was 2 games. But they have the weapons on the O side of the ball behind QB Vandenberg (33rd in nation in passing) with 3,000+ pass yards, 59% completion and a 23/6 TD to INT ration. RB Coker (1300+ rush yards and 15TDs) is 2nd in Big 10 and WR McNutt carries a 16 yds/catch average. The 2-TD spot might be a bit too much here.

For what its worth: Oklahoma 37 - Iowa 30

Yeah, I haven't put any bets in. I started this thread to warn people against taking OU. I think I'm just going to get a few cold beverages and enjoy the game hoping for a Sooner win.

I just read RB Coker is ruled ineligible for this game. Iowa has no other backs that have more than 20 attempts.

That would be significant. That's why Oklahoma is favored so high, because Iowa won't be able to do sh1t without Coker.
