Bowl game of the year goes saturday

I killed them in 2007 with a similar situation on the same field. Fresno State was a small dog vs Georgia Tech. Fresno was closer to home and ready to play while GT was just going thru the motions. Fresno won 40-28 in a game that wasn't that close.

I would be concerned by a play on Utah St. Utah St. is 2-5 ATS over their last 7 games, including a whopping 0-5 when favored. Utah St. is 1-4 ATS this season when favored by a similar margin (.5-3 pts) Ohio U is 4-3 ATS over their last 7 games and they are 9-3 in their last 12 as an underdog. Ohio U is also 4-1 ATS this season against a similar margin (.5-3 pts). I think Ohio U will be an "active dog" in this one and quite possibly could win outright. Utah St has been inconsistent to a fault this year and I think it will show in their bowl game.

Not to offend, but in no way does this look like a lock. Not to say it won't happen, but this basically looks like a pick em with a strong lean on Ohio.

Ut.St. needed a last second TD to beat woeful NMSU in their last game. A team that had been outscored 23-109 in 3 of its last 4 games. And that same NMSU team was down by 34 points to this same Ohio team and was thoroughly dominated.

Tettleton is a winner at QB.

I know a ton about about OU but I know little about Utah State I saw them play and all I can remember is they have a beast running back named turbine?

Agree, I'll take Utah State.
WAC is definitely superior to the MAC, there is NO defense in the MAC.
Utah State has great running back and good QB, is run heavy though so a bit one dimensional. They performed well @ Auburn lost by 4, were edged @ BYU by 3, pounded Wyoming, and played close to LA Tech by 7 though they outgained them, all much more quality clubs than you will find in the MAC.
Ohio has been done with finals for awhile, Utah State is still taking them, even somehow on site... thats a distraction. Ohio is 0-8 in bowls and they might be focused to end that jinx against a beatable team.
BUT Utah State is MUCH closer to home, will have a MUCH bigger crowd, they will be jacked up this is their first bowl game in forever.
BUT Ohio has to be bummed out losting the MAC Championship game and then winding up in cold weather game on a blue field from hell.
NI did well here last year but that was against foo-foo southern California Fresno State, I find teams visiting the mountain areas get screwed up in the thin air and weird surroundings. Wherethefuckarewe?
Utah State - 1.5, waiting for more info to decide, at this point small could go to medium, BIG play, TBD.

I like Utah St too.....UL Lafayette getting +4.5 vs San Diego St looks pretty sweet too...pretty much a home game for UL Lafayette

23-10 and Utah State is ripping off 9 yards a run now or more. Double digit beatdown time!! Ohio didn't have enough time to regain their confidence after blowing their #1 objective...the MAC Championship. Also like I said...Ohio couldn't hang with Auburn like Utah State did. UState played a much much tougher schedule. Its like running a $5000 claiming horse against a 25,000 allowance racehorse.
