Game went about as I figured, though there was a little more scoring than anticipated. GT couldn't stop VT on the ground or through the air, and VT just knows how to win big games like this. I've faded the Hokies plenty of times in this type of a spot and been burned accordingly. Have to give Beamer credit for getting his teams to rise to the occasion and exploit weaknesses of the opponent. Wilson was very impressive last night.

Another short home fave (-1 to -2.5 at open) bites the dust.

I come back to this thread and read this comment? Serious? What - am I posting on a forum full of under aged high school students?

If GT played some defense they actually would have had a chance to win. 26 points is enough to have won, 270 yards rushing? ya - you are kidding yourself if you think VT stopped the option.

The game was essentially tied going into the 4th. The game eventually was won by VT but GT played well enough to win if they had some key stops on D. Unfortunately, they didn't step it up.

SO go on. Enlighten me on how VT did a great job stopping GT by stuffing the 270 yards of rushing. Or how they allowed 26 points to be scored on them.
