i like Arky tomorrow. it's the last play off my card right now, so if early games go well, may add it. i agree, the unis don't mean a ton (although they are fkn sweet), i just don't think that Cocky has the guns to hang with Arky in Fayetteville, and the Hogs are a decent value after underwhelming performances against Ole Miss and Vandy. BOL to your hogs, Derek.

that is a prototype... that same template is used for everyone, I highly doubt nike would let that fly and not be selling black out shirts, hats...etc

But I would like to see it... and I am a firm believer in the uniforms help it... recruitng and everything..

I think if you look at the record of the teams rocking the pro combat... well I know this yr the only loss in a pro combat (which oregon shouldnt count bc their pro combat practically every week) of course boise and UGA were a smash...

But I know OSU is 3-0 while in the pro combats...

let's go through the games real quick

A&M - Ark beat them the last 2 games they had played them by a big margin, and it was right after the Alabama loss (kinda sleep walked into the game)

Ole Miss - coming off a bye week, Houston Nutt has always had a personal vendetta against Ark. And as an Arkansas team.. how do you get up for a terrible ole miss team like that?

Vandy - This was the first Vandy team that actually has had a defense in a long time. In the 2nd half, Ark was very close to busting the game open with some big turnovers but could never capitalize and some sneaky yet really impressive playcalls by Vandy kept them in the game

I don't expect a game this week like either of the last two in Fayetteville
DWR Razorback Stadium will be rocking and Arkansas will have a good game plan (Petrino has always had a good gameplan on the ole' ball coach)

2 quick scores and I firmly believe the game is out of reach.
USC is not a good enough team to come back from a big deficit

I think you're probably right on this game...and it's the one in my Sat card that I am the least confident about.

Remember though, Arkansas needed Vander to turn the ball over at the 5 yard line, which it then ran back for a TD. Also, Vander's strategy out of the second half was horrible. Instead of continuing to use Rodgers, they decided to switch things up. Arkansas QB was daring Vander players to catch his passes...never seen so many poor throws. What should have been a game tying field goal went right and the rest is history. Almost feel like Arkansas can't play until they get slapped around a little bit.

growing up with Tyler (Arkansas QB), you're right.. he never really got going until he threw a bad pass, got hit, started up-tempo, etc.

What Ark needs is to get the tempo up early.
I'm sure Petrino has realized by now, Tyler is at his BEST when they are going fast. Against Auburn Tyler completed 19 passes in a row, they were in the up-tempo offense the entire time.

also, some more info just came to my attention

in a few of the games that have been close, and what-not Ark has stuggled early with injuries with major players

most are back this week with the exception of Tank Wright

Tough game to call. So Caro is still playing to win the SEC East. Arkansas gives up too many yds, which is good for So Caro minus Lattimore. If I had to choose, I would go Ark, but this game just smells funny. Line should be more like Ark -7 with So Caro missing Lattimore. GL guys.
