Anyone? Early (Sunday night) line looks like Georgia -3.

I'm waiting to see what the total will be. I think it will be very high scoring.

I like Arkansas as well. UGA is in all kind of hurts right now. Physically and emotionally. Richt is on the hot seat.

ARK looks very enticing, but I hate to bet anything where the public will be on it big time.

Hoga, I favor the Dawgs in this one.

                1. Must win after loss to SC (sense of urgency).
                2. Home game (difficult place for road team).
                3. Arkansas plays Alabama next week (some looking ahead).

Yeah.... this one seems like a slight lean to UGA. Doubt I'll play this one though.

Line moved down to 2.5 this morning.

Georgia looked solidly mediocre Saturday against the cocks, and Arkansas has played 2 cupcakes so far. Assuming this is is fairly even matchup, the -3 for homefield advantage looks about right. But my guess is that the public will push this down to UGA -1 or -1.5 by the end of the week. I think the AJ Green issue will play a large part in how this line moves, i.e. if he's given leniency, it may go back to -3; but if he's confirmed out again this week, probably closer to -1.

Being a HUGE Hog fan I hope we can pull this one out.

3 things that worry me about this game

                          1. Lately we have not be a good road team in the SEC

                          2. Dawgs losing at Carolina

                          3. Besides death and taxes one thing we have always had is a good to excellent running game. So far this has been lost. 99 yards rushing against Louisiana-Monroe is not going to do it. Yeah Mallet can pass, but you have to run in the SEC especially if your wanting to win a road game.

BOL on your picks, but I'll pass

Arkansas is pretty much an unknown at this point with their pathetic OOC schedule, although their passing game looks solid. Who knows about their defense. It is hard for me to go against Georgia in this spot (coming home after a tough road loss), even though their offense didn't look too hot. My gut tells me they'll bounce back. But this game is a pass for me.

Solid post Razorback1.....add to your post that how goes QB Ryan Mallett...goes the offense.

Part of the problem with Arkansas' road woes is Mallett. Last year he hit 68% of his passes at home and only 42% on the road. Of his 30 TD passes, I believe only 6 came on the road. (double check me on that)

Georgia lost to Spurrier's best team at South Carolina.

Isn't Georgia's primary weakness on defense the secondary?

This game is a mirror image of when Locker and the Huskies went to Provo and lost to BYU in week 1. You wanted to take the Huskies because Locker is sensational, but in the end home field made the difference. Similarly, Mallett is great, and Ark is the better offensive squad...but that crowd will have the Dogs fired up in this must win game for Georgia. Plus, the Razorbacks are not known for their defense. I see the Dogs pulling this out by less than 4.
