Tennessee's Arian Foster to return for senior season
Hey Mofo, I know your probably thrilled with this news.

Vols' Foster to return for senior season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee running back Arian Foster, whose 1,193 rushing yards were the third highest total in the SEC this season, has decided to return for his senior season.

"This was a tough decision for me and my family and everyone who was involved with it," Foster said at a news conference Tuesday. "I feel like one more year of polishing myself, I will be ready for the next level."

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Foster was the Vols' most versatile offensive threat this season. He caught 39 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns to go along with his 1,193 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. He needs just 685 yards next season to pass Travis Henry (3,078 yards) and become Tennessee's all-time leading rusher.

After receiving a second-round grade from the NFL advisory committee, Foster went back and forth on his football future, but ultimately decided that it would be best for him to return to college football for another season.

Foster will be playing under his third different offensive coordinator at Tennessee. Former Richmond head coach Dave Clawson was hired last week to replace David Cutcliffe, who left to take the Duke head coaching job. Kentucky quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders was the Vols' offensive coordinator during Foster's freshman season.
