michigan man here - definitely not a roudy atmosphere considering +100k fans but with new improvements to the stadium, they say things should get louder. with that said, just like the impact of the new stadium remains to be soon, so does this year's michigan football team. uconn is much strengthened and I wouldn't count this play as a steal. Most Michigan fans have gotten past the traditional view of Michigan as a powerhouse and tempered down expectations under this idiot rich rod - it's time for the rest of the country to do the same

Of course I'm a homer and won't play either because I'll be rooting for UConn to smack us around to hasten the departure of the dickrod out of the big house so we can get back to winning again.

im about 90% sure uconns leading rusher was dixon last year and he was defiantly a senior.....uconn had their best draft ever 6 players selected to the NFL i dont think theyll beat michigan in this spot

Who is going to play defense for Michigan? That is their biggest problem. UConn is coached well, and they run the ball. Those two things have given Rich Rod headaches.

Michigan inconsistent to me.they have more value to the public because of their past. They are like notre dame to me, I stay away until they can prove they can whip ass week in and week out. Idk who's going to win this one. Argument is mainly for michigan to win, but Conn has some good defense. Goodluck.

Jordan Todman was Uconn's leading rusher last year with 1,188 yds and 14 TDs and he is returning. Dixon had 1,093 yds and 14 TDs as well. And Uconn only had 2 players drafted last year (Marcus Easley, Robert McClain). You must be thinking of 2009 when they had 4 guys taken on the first day. The team Uconn is returning is very strong...I think they have a great shot to win this game.

Noise level may not be there but it is still very intiminating to play at Michigan and has to be within top ten stadiums most feared. Michigan currently is very iffy going nowhere while UConn is at least showing progress/promise. Game appears no bet!

Until Rich Rod does one thing right........ I'm fading them at every turn. This will be the end of the Rich Rod era, then Michigan can go get a disgruntled Les Miles from LSU, much to the joy and happiness of LSU fans who would love it if he would leave on his own accord.

Disclaimer: Yes I am a WVU fan who still feels the pain from the Rich Rod departure, and subsequent Stewart regime.

gonna take the maize & blue on this one. denard "shoelace" robinson has become a MUCH better passer & should be the starting QB against uconn. tate forcier is the #3 man behind freshman devin gardner. michigan should be able to put up points but they're gonna have trouble stopping anything through the air. michigan wins by 7+ here.

This is a difficult post for me to understand.

I love how excited you are for UM football. But.

Who told you that Robinson has "become a MUCH better passer"? He hasn't played a single game since last season. And the defense he goes up against in practice may be the worst pass defense in the Big 10.

Every fan of every team is convinced there team is improved this year, that their QBs have developed more, and their defense is going to be better. Hope springs eternal and all, right?
