Reports are this could be Randy Edsall's best team Uconn returns 8 starters on both sides of the ball, Top 3 tacklers are back, leading rusher and starting Qb back. The guys that fill in like the wrs all had playing time last year and the O-line is Big and Strong 6-8 301, 6-5 332, 6-2 315, 6-7 323, 6-2 292 not just big but good too. They will be able to Run on Michigan

I really like UCONN getting points in this game. Word in Conn is that this is the most complete team in UCONN history. I know thats no saying much but if you look at the futures UConn is +250 to win the Big East. Same number as Pitt and West Va. So obvioiusly the line makers understand how good this team can be.

Rich Rod has proved nothing at Michigan. I'm a believer in UConn this year. I also believe their starting RB Todman is going to be one of th best RB in the country! I like UConn to keep this game very close. I bet the line moves to -2.5 or -2 by kickoff.

Michigan does not even know who it's starting QB is going to be, and you guys think this is free money? I'm glad to see all of you guys doing your research. UConn returns 8 starters on offense, including their QB, RB, and 4 linemen. They also return 8 starters on defense, including their entire defensive line. So much for the talent issue. Some people just never learn about Michigan Football. Mac, to answer your question, just look at the number of posts that the oridingal poster made. Does 54 tell you something about him? Why people have to sound like touts to try and convince us that they know what they are talking about when they boast is beyond me. We know the real truth.

Until Rich Rod picks a QB and sticks with him i wont bet on Michigan. Last year was a joke, There were games when he would just ruin any rhythm by plugging in a different QB.

You hit the nail on the head. Rich Rod has no patience with his QB's. One is mistake prone, and the other could not hit Lake Michigan with a pass.

There is a lot of talk for a game, yet this line of -3 is pretty fair. For Week 1, I think there a lot better opportunities, although I think Michigan has the talent to turn it around this year.

The UCONN secondary is suspect. I am thinking that Michigan will not get blown to pieces at home in a must win. I hate must win. The -2.5 is scaring me. I had a Michigan from the gate but seems to good to be true.

hostile enviroment???? the big house under rich rod is a card table, lol. UCONN is turning the corner as a yr in yr outer, produce some decent NFL talent. and have a coach everyone wants.

I still see Mich winning by a couple of scores but would not question UCONN, with a returning cast. Mich will have headaches with Toddman. Itll be a great game

attendance means hostility? Riddle me why Oregon is considered one of the hostile places to play in the country and their attendance is half of the big house at 56 thousand.

Or Lane Stadium @ 68 thousand. I know at night games those places are considered the loudest places in football.

Yes UM has the largest crowd, but ive been to four games there 2 OSU and 2 MSU (biggest rivals) and hostile is not a word I would use to describe that place. The biggest tailgate is on the golf course, and I kid you not they have wine tasting there. Yes it is storied and tradition of winning bursting at the seams, but hostile I think not. with all due respect.

I really like Uconn this year. they surprised a lot of people last year and this year their starting squad is much more experienced. They have a very physical running game that i like to see in college ESPECIALLY against a spread offense team. I believe Uconn will grind the ball and keep the michigan offense off the field and thus create inconsistency in michigan's offense. Uconn's defensive front 7 is a little undersized but michigan's O line is not that big either. I think Uconn matches up really well with michigan in all aspects and i belive Uconn will pull out the win.

The stadium is built like a bowl and all the sound leaks out so it doesn't get real loud.
