Due to my model/formula/system whatever you want to call it the Bowl season over the past 2 years hasn't fared well. I broke even this year and made a small profit last year but only cause I went heavy on the National Title game both times to re-coop the losses.

The 09' season was decent but the 08' season was actually 65%. I did notice last year that in weeks 5-9 I was hitting at a very high rate. This makes sense when you factor in the fact that is a game or two into the conferences schedule and while most teams are still healthy.

I'm thinking this year I will tweak my betting pattern a bit to coincide with that period of the season.

Wal, brother its an itch that benedryl or calamine lotion cant touch......it tugs at the very fiber of my being from about a week after my beloved Crimson Tide won the national championship and steadily builds untill the first kick this fall....I cant wait.....sept 11 I will be at the Penn St./Bama in T town and I cant wait. Holdem, I plan to continue posting my generated lines. I know some of the members found it helpful and that is what it's all about. Tweaking the system a little right now to try and zero in that opening line just a bit better. Don't want to play around with it too much though cause it has worked well.

Not making any bold predictions but I really think Mississippi State will make some noise this year. Still think it will again come down to Florida and Alabama for the SEC though.

Miss State is still a few years away I believe. The cupboard was pretty bare when Mullen took over. Its not like he has a great program to pitch either so its gonna take a little time at MSU

Unfortunately, Boise State has proven they prepare well / get up for that one big game. Should be interesting.

Although they still have a 7-17 record vs BCS schools.

For all of you guys who have the itch, scratch over these lines. Boise State -2.5 over Va. Tech. Alabama -9.5 over Penn State. It is understandable why people wantBoise State to lose. If they beat Va. Tech, they are home free. That means every other team that wants to go to te BCS Championship game must go undefeated, and that is a very tall order. It will be nearly impossible for that to happen in the SEC. Only Alabama has a chance, and they have a tough schedule. The Big 10 may have a shot with Ohio State or Iowa. The Big 12 has a very outside shot with the Big three. The rest have no shot at all.

I won't even think about touching BSU/ Vtech, but gun to the head I'd roll with Vtech.

Would have to wait to see if Penn State's new QB struggles in week one. Probably leaning towards Bama at home.

Call me a homer but Bama will destroy the very one dimensional PSU. Saban's D is too strong for any 1 dimensional offense.

PSU has stated over and over again that they will be a very run oriented team this year so it looks to me like they really screwed up by rescheduling this series from like 4 years ago when Bama was struggling.

Run oriented sounds good...No matter how good they can run the ball i like the chances of stopping their run...Your right 1-dimensional will be crap or this fast defense
