What did we learn opening weekend?
The ACC had a rough day. Duke and Virginia both lost to FBS schools---Richmond and William and Mary. Bama beat VT, SC beat NC State, Baylor beat Wake. Not good.

The Big 10 wasn't much better. Ohio State struggled to beat Navy, Iowa needed 2 blocked FG's to beat Northern Iowa. And those two teams were considered to be among the Big 10's strongest. Oh yeah, Ron Zook is still Ron Zook.

Oklahoma without Sam Bradford makes them very ordinary. Missouri looked good for having to replace their entire offense. And how about some love for Okie State? Yeah yeah...they have Robinson and Bryant--but they matched Georgia punch for punch--and dominated Georgia after the first quarter. This is the comparison game the Big 12 needed.

The SEC has the best athletes. They just fly around---from Ingram and Jones at Alabama to Tebow and his crew in Florida. They have speed and right now no other conference comes close.

Don't throw dirt on USC just yet. Their freshman QB can play some. And they will beat Ohio State.

I still haven't figured out how ND shut out Nevada. I expected them to win, I never expected them to pitch a shut out. I actually want to watch ND and Michigan this weekend.

That USC is still USC big, fast, and great depth... that oklahoma looked slow and without one player they can be beat... That chip kelly is not a #1 hes not Batman hes robin a great number 2 a really good offensive mind but not a #1. I also learned whatever chris perterson is doing with his1, 2 and 3 star recruits at Boise st. he needs to write a book,go back and look at the game tape they are just as fast if not faster, just as big, and play harder than the duck players. They must have one hell of a offseason weight/strength/speed program, oh and notre dame looked like the old notre dame when lou holtz was there that somoan kid #5 teo or something like that is a stud how in the hell did USC not end up with that guy?? they usually get guys like that, kids legit

Oklahoma did not look that good before Bradford got hurt. Their only TD came after a muffed punt.
