I saw Bama play a good game against Florida in the SEC championship game and as a matter of fact there was a thread in this forum that was congratulating Bama at the end of the 3rd quater, cuz it looked like Bama had it under control. Now I am sure I will get ripped on that so here is another. After losing that SEC title game and a big disappointment, they didn't care enough about Utah. The game is played saturday night and VT wont win.....my money is down.

And then of course, just mailed in the bowl performance? What exactly does that say about Saban? He can't get his team motivated to play?

Who knows...maybe Alabama's NFL team won't care enough to play little ole Virginia Tech and they will mail in that effort as well?

Also Bama did care enough to win the Sugar Bowl. Utah was just the better team with the better gameplan that night.

The allegation is that he accepted a laptop, not that he stole one. Nevertheless, I believe this does have legs, because if it didn't, he'd be starting against VT. If there wasn't some concern about him, I think he would be starting in Hightower's spot, and Hightower would be playing the Jack in lieu of Eryk Anders.

It's a fluid situation that bears watching.

The O/U for VT is 16.5. That seemed kind of low to me, so I took the over. I know they aren't a high powered offense or anything, but I like to think they are capable of at least 2 TDs and a FG.

I stenuously disagree. VT's offense will be fortunate to score 1 TD. I personally don't think they will. Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck this weekend!!!

Utah did what allot of offense's in collage should do when the defense is waiting on you to get set- snap the damn ball Alabama defense was almost never set when Utah snap the ball they had a great game plan defense will stop doing this when more O's start taking advantage jmo!!!!!!!!!!

I don't disagree. With a team like VT who pretty much has zero chance of moving the ball effectively, anything is worth a try.

WOW!!! What a game!!! VT should be applauded for playing their guts out tonight!!! They represented the ACC well tonight!!! In the end, however, Bama's superior talent and depth was evident, and was the difference in the game.
