Any chance of expanding the CFB Playoffs has been put on hold until CFB figures out just exactly what it will look like in 2025. As of now, no one has any idea of exactly how many conferences will be around in 2025. Obviously you cannot come up with a new Playoff formula not knowing who is going to be around to participate in it.
