Glad we both won are bets. Wind was not really a big factor at that time. Even though it was a small bet,would have felt stupid if it lost. What I did toward end of 1st half....I called the Municipal Airport for private and corporate aircraft,in Corvallis....they by far give the best updates for weather conditions!! Just called and said I was thinking about flying in soon................they tell you whatever you want to know!!..............................BOL. ..........FYI -This is true for all small airports !!Comment
