Explain yourself. Why would you take an average offense that cannot play well on the road and turns it over a decent amount against a defense like LA Tech. I know the suspensions and all but not in the secondary. LA Tech can score it too. I feel like this should be a 31-17 game but with the crud happening in this joke of a bowl season who knows.

Anyone who has some real insight, explain why youre on Illinois.

I'm rolling the dice with this one. The coach for this team is currently walking a thin line. Big Ten vs Conference USA caliber team. Both teams were blown out by ranked opponents. Both teams had lopsided losses and wins. We could see a entertaining game. That's just my 2 cants. GL with yours.

This is how I feel the game should go. Illinois fights hard but doesn't have any big play ability. They will turn it over at least once and LaTech will score 30+ points since Illinois' rushing defense sucks.

We're expecting everything to play out through statistical facts. Once the game began there could be several different scenario's. L Tech could come out flat or explosive. Illi's defense may just show up from out of nowhere. Only time will tell. I'm just roling the dice on this one.

They played pretty well at Northwestern. Always concerned with teams who end the year on a high note. They have some momentum going into the bowl season. Only issue is the motivation factor and travel factor. La. Tech is a short drive on Rt. 20 to Dallas and beit their first bowl game in a long time, will prolly be hyped up. I'm looking to tease La. Tech with USC tomorrow night.

Northwestern sucks too. Crowd should be 50/50 despite the distance and im thinking Illinois doesn't have the offense to keep up.

Does Minnesota suck, too, because they beat them towards the end of the year. Illinois is a tricky team to figure out and I'm always worried about small conference teams playing big conference teams in bowl games. I'm on La. Tech in a teaser with USC so I'm not dissuading La. Tech....I'm just saying I can make a case for Illinois showing up and playing well.

I firmly believe that all the Big Ten bashing is unfounded... I think Illinois can run the ball on La Tech as well as play action deep... I think Illinois played some very decent football towards the end of the season and with the pressure off the coach (he has been given another year)... I think they play loose and the better athletes win...

I have just laid heavy on +7 Illini and also threw some on the ML @ +240...

would be a terrible idea... do not buy into the hype that the Big Ten is awful.... it is merely average... La Tech plays in a below average conference themselves...
