I would just assume so bc the public always puts a lot of weight on what a team did the previous week.

remember last Thursday VT got embarrassed by lowly Pitt??? Kind of an embarrassing loss on national tv.

i am not interested in getting a juiced 3 b/c if I thought I would need the points I wouldn't bet it.

however I will take the points at + money out of principle.

I will forever remember the thrashing V. Tech put on Miami last year. The most money I've ever lost on a game. Opened at like 6 and dwindled down to around 4. I pounded Miami each time it dropped. Tech threw for what seemed like 450 yards on elementary middle crossing routes. Miami, I don't think ever adjusted.

If there's one team that he is up against that you can bet on Beamer, it's an Al Golden led team.

That said, I don't think I can even bet this game. It's going to be painful to watch is all I'd bet.

Last year game was paintful to watch. No logan thomas this time though and miami got duke back. Miami had what like couple of turnovers too that VT capitalized on.

VT controlled last year's game in Miami in the rain. But I think Miami fumbled 2 kick-off returns if I remember right.

Golden does poorly against good teams. But VT is not really a good team. Outside of Ohio St. they haven't beaten anyone with a pulse.

Miami has actually had more time to prepare as this will be VT's second Thursday night game in a row.

Miami has been a road underdog 3 times this year and they are 0-3 ATS.

I can't find enough of an angle to bet either team here.

Miami is -2 to -2 1/2 in Vegas, and that is all that counts as far as the books go. The off shore books will move a line if anyone wagers over $100.00. They do not have the money to cover major wagers any more. That is why so many off shore players get screwed, or have to wait for long periods of time to get paid, after they have been put through the loop.

Did anyone figure out why Miami is the favorite? I really doubt it, because no one has mentioned it. Not suprising for this group. It is their injuries. TE Kalvin Cline, LB Chase Williams, and RB Trey Edmunds, are all out against Miami. That is 3 starters out of this game. That is the real reason why Miami is favored. This game is a pass.

VT is also down to their 4th string RB. Injuries are what costed them the Pitt game last week IMO. This is not a good VT team right now. And Miami has gotten a little better and better as season progressed. I like the canes to win.
