UConn +17 against BYU

BYU wins su but with it being the first game and long travel I'd look to UConn on a teaser. BYU has talent but there not Oregon or Stanford. Cougars 5-8 ats road fav/Huskies 9-2-1 ats home dog L4y. UConn defense should keep it close but I don't know if they have enough skill on offense.

BYU wins this game rather easily. UConn is just terrrible. They lost their starting RB McCombs to an arrest for a fight he had with his girl friend. That makes UConn's offense one dememtional, if they can find a QB to throw the ball. BYU's offense is set, and is going to score points. I think BYU will cover the 17, but I would not wager on it. They can get back doored when the bench is cleared.

I like BYU to cover hear. BYU's QB really started figuring it out at the end of last season. He's a great running QB but early on his arm sucked. He got better as the season progressed. Only thing that worries me is I'm still having flashbacks of last year when BYU went to play a crappy Virginia team, first game of the season and BYU didn't show up and got beat. I'm still gonna take the Cougs spread here.

I am glad to see that a game between a good team (BUY 7.5 on a scale of 1-10) on the road and a prro team (UConn 3.5 out of 1-10) can actually draw attention in here.

I'm a Uconn fan as well....they will definitely be improved this season with Pasqualoni gone, that guy was a complete joke. It was obvious the players quit on him last season. That being said, this is probably not the best matchup for them to start the season so BYU or no play here. I would back Uconn as the season goes along though as they should get more and more comfortable with the new staff.

BYU - should make Basketball game out of it [ BYU 35+ and UConn 10 or less ] - I think BYU is ready for this opening game , they will show with basketball ball and make basketball game out of it !! I like them a lot !!
