Kansas State: Back-up WR Daniel Sams.
Maryland: Starting LT Moise Larose.
Minnesota: Back-up RG Caleb Bak.
Nebraska: Back-up Safety Drake Martinez.
Arizona: Back-up NG Kirfi Taula.
USC: Back-up NT Kenny Bigelow.
Georgia: Starting CB Shaq Wiggins. Back-up FS Tray Matthews.
Auburn: Starting DE Carl Lawson.
Texas A&M: Starting NG Issiah Golden. Starting WLB Darian Claibourne.

I really wish I could. I will give it a try. Most players lost for the year because of breaking the law did something a lot more serious than weed. Let me see what I can do.

The Wilmington (Del.) News Journal reported Tuesday that West Virginia sophomore running back Wendell Smallwood was arrested in Morgantown late Monday and will be charged with intimidating a witness in a 2012 murder case.

I also know that UGA D-backs Wiggens and Matthews were kicked off the team, along with D-Back Harvey-Clemons earlier this year, because of numerous infractions including, but not limited to pot use. Texas A&M starters Golden and Claibourne were kicked out and are now facing robbery charges. Miami starting LB Figueroa, along with back-up LB Blue were dismissed for sexual battery. Kansas WR Turzilli and RB Miller are both leaving the program for "Personal Reasons". They join QB Heaps in that catagory. Ol' Charlie makes them real happy, doesn't he? Heaps has since joined Miami. Kansas State QB/WR Sams transfered to McNeese State to be closer to home. Indiana QB Roberson transfered to Eastern Illinois. Maryland LT Larose out due to chronic injuries. Minnesota RG Bok out due to concussions. Nebraska Safety Martinez left due to personal reasons (the same reasons that drive other players out of Pelini's program). Arizona NG Taula done due to injuries. Auburn's DE lawson and USC's NT Bigelow are out due to knee injuries.

Add yet another Georgia player. DL Johnathan Taylor after his second arrest. He is the 4th Georgia Defensive player to get kicked off the team because of arrests.

Texas boots three players for the stand by "team violation rule". They are RB's Jalen Overstreet and Joe Bergeron, and CB Chevoski Collins. Two other players were suspended pending sexual assault charges. They are WR's Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander. The first 3 were expected to give Texas some much needed depth. The two WR's were potential starters. I guess Charlie is laying down the law in Texas.

Southern Miss, who has won ne game in two years, loses starting CB Ed Wilkins, who was arrested for a home invasion robbery and admitted to planning it. It is not a good idea to fall asleep in a car across from the crime sceene with the evidence in your vehicle.

OK, so after meeting with coach Strong, it has been decided that Josh Turner will remain in the program. Apparently, his inclusion in last weeks report of dismissed players was premature.
