Huskies +3½ at Arizona

Washington travels to Arizona in a Pac-10 Saturday night battle, and the smart money is on the visiting Huskies.
Arizona appears to be at a disadvantage both physically and emotionally here, so we are calling for the outright Washington upset.
From a physical standpoint, the Wildcats have been terrible offensively averaging just 7.3 points per game in three games vs. Division-IA competition. That in itself may be a good enough reason not to lay more than a field goal with them in this spot. This play looks even stronger however when you consider this is a huge letdown spot for Arizona after playing its heart out in a 20-3 loss to USC last week. The defense played good enough to win that game as most of the Trojans points came in the second half.
On the other hand, Washington has been very impressive offensively, beating UCLA and Fresno State the last two weeks. In fact the Huskies did not play terribly in their prior game on the road at Oklahoma either, leading for much of the first half before falling 37-20. Washington is averaging 26.2 points on 345.0 total yards of offense per game, and we just do not see Arizona being able to come back if the Huskies jump out to a quick lead this week.
