Yes, this Sooner team isn't all that good and the Big 12 stunk this year. And yes, Alabama is Alabama and they're coming off a loss. But +15? Really? When's the last time OU was +15 against anyone? Maybe oddsmakers know something I don't and this is going to be a blowout. I just don't see the mismatch this line is indicating.

The line opened at 17. If you think Alabama is going to show up and try to avenge this season's loss to Auburn, then 'Bama is the play. If you think that 'Bama will mail it in, like they did against Utah in a very similar situation, then OU is the play. I took the 17.

Saban signed multi-year, so that distraction is out of the way. I'm sure Saban and the team, in general, would like to get rid of the bad taste of that Auburn debacle. Also, it's McCarron's final game. I think these factors spell disaster for Oklahoma.
