If you want to whine about fixed games, at least get your point correct. Alabama did try for field goal with about 3 min left, and it was blocked.

Just blame the kicker.

Get the correct fact, before whining about fixed games. They did try for field goal, but it was blocked. Blame the kicker.

There was an opportunity to kick a FG and Saban went for it 4th and 2 and failed with about 3 mins. He had more than one opportunity. Yes he did try and kick the FG you are referring to but i know you remember the FG opportunity that i'm referring to where they decided not to kick it. Regardless in that situation up 7 if you truly want to win, you attempt ALL FG's OPPORTUNITIES, you don't go for a 1st down on a 25-30 yard FG attempt which would put your team up 2 scores at the end of the game. People want to dance around the fact but he made a very shady play call not trying for that PARTICULAR FG when they tried to go for the 1st down instead.

1st and 10 at AUB 35	T.J. Yeldon rush for 13 yards to the Aub 22 for a 1ST down.	28	21
1st and 10 at AUB 22	T.J. Yeldon rush for 7 yards to the Aub 15.
2nd and 3 at AUB 15	T.J. Yeldon rush for 2 yards to the Aub 13.
3rd and 1 at AUB 13	T.J. Yeldon rush for no gain to the Aub 13.
4th and 1 at AUB 13	T.J. Yeldon rush for no gain to the Aub 13.

TURNOVER ON DOWNS. NO FG ATTEMPT, THEY WERE ON THE 13 YARD LINE, UP 7 WITH A CHANCE TO PUT THE GAME OUT OF REACH. I DON'T BELIEVE SABAN IS THAT STUPID TO TRY AND GET A 1ST DOWN INSTEAD OF TRYING TO WIN THE GAME WITH A FG. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS, ONLY WOULD BE DONE TO AVOID PUSHING ON THE SPREAD.

Whatever the time was, they didn't kick the FG. And it was a shady call. To be clear the drive started at 8:38 and was almost 3 mins. So under 6 mins was remaining they would have been up 10. Auburn would be forced to go 4 and out for the rest of the game, Bama gets the stops game over, win by 10. No matter what anyone says, if you don't kick a FG in that situation, you don't kick a FG for the rest of the game. If you don't have confidence there, how can you have confidence to kick a 50 yarder at the end of the game? Confidence or not you go for the FG and the 2 score lead, no matter what, on every opportunity you have to go for that FG, this is a very easy call. If they miss the FG they turn the ball over, if they make the FG game over 2 score lead, Saban didn't want to touch that 10 spread. Very easy to see.

It wasn't shady at all it was just stupid. He didn't trust his kicker obviously but Yu still kick it to ice the game.

The last kick was a joke, have mccarron bomb it, worst case is OT.

I don't believe Saban could be that stupid. You and I are sitting here watching the game knowing he should be kicking a FG, there's no way we could know the game of football more than Saban....buddy knows wtf he was doing not going for the FG, there's only so many phantom calls the refs can come up with on these FG attempts and only so many times a kicker can miss a kick, so Saban left no doubt and didn't bring the kicker out.

He watched an ugly 33 yard attempt. I can understand why he chose it but it's still just stupid.

No way i believe that. Remember, he made that first chip shot when a PHANTOM CALL was made they saw the guy "move". He MADE the kick, it didn't count but it was right down the middle. Then they moved him back and to the right side and he missed. At the end of the day if you're at the 13 yard line and you don't feel your kicker can make that kick, no way you try and kick a 50+ yarder at the end of the game, you throw a hail mary. None of the decisions Saban made, made sense. Even when he won the toss, choosing to receive first for the #1 defensive team on the road is the WRONG choice obviously, i SWEAR to you when i heard that i felt something was already wrong..... Saban threw the game.
