Ball State +7 and +250 Wednesday at NIU

Might be worth playing. Cardinals are a very solid squad, with only one blemish on their resume (34-28 loss at Tennessee). I know NIU is the MAC darling and a public ATM (5-1 ATS last six), but I really think Ball State has the firepower to at least cover the 7 here. Should be a great game -- well, relative to MAC standards. Just worry a little about the MAC's direct involvement with trying to, ummm, "enhance" NIU's BCS chances for a repeat appearance in a major bowl game.

Totally agree with you, but here is a link to my good friend Pivotpoints view of this game, and he does make some very good points, but it is a no play game for me, other than I might play it through "in game progressive wagering".

I think this could be a 3-4 point game either way. I'd love to get +7.5 with Ball State without it being heavily juiced, but I highly doubt it gets there.

There isw absolutely no way that the MAC can "enhance" NIU's chances of appearing in a BCS Bowl game. After last year's debacle against Florida State, the ONLY way NIU gets in is if Fresno Stae loses a game.
