Tonight's play is on Hawaii +2.5, with a small play on Hawaii ML.
Also, I'd be careful with the over tonight, which people are advertising as the lock of the evening.
Notre Lame travels all the way to Hawaii and will most likely leave extending their streak of losing bowl games to ten consecutive. Just like the Hawaii vs. Cinci game, expect Hawaii to step up against a team that's popular on the national level and take full advantage of their home field advantage. Hawaii gets up for big time games against big time teams, and this is going to be a prime example tonight.
While I'd most likely just call this game a tossup, with both teams offense and defense being somewhat mediocre against anything more than mediocre teams, we can look at a good matchup in terms of playing skill. I believe playing at home and the 3 point spread movement is enough to give the Warriors the edge in this matchup.
Also - I'm a little hesitant to hop on the over (48.5) that everyone is advertising as the lock of the century. While both of these teams offenses have improved, I believe these teams to be a pretty fair matchup against each other, and with less than stellar offenses on the grand scale, if either team's D shows up, we can expect some punting. There's been many an anemic scoring Hawaii football games over the last couple years, so be careful with this play. However, if ND wins, it means Hawaii won't show up at all - expect an absolute blowout.
As always, best of luck to everyone.
