Especially with college, I believe these trends are total bullshit. THey come up with shit like in the last 24 games where the o/u has been between 43 and 47 on the road against a big ten team, their record is 13-10-1. Like who CARES about stuff before. Its not like college players stay there forever. Some college teams decline, some incline. I JUST DONT understand why anyone would use stupid trends like these. Some PLEASE explain.

Stooooopid trends give novice gamblers the fallacy that their pick is not a gamble.

                  This right here.

Most bettors usually make up their minds on who they back based on feel or gut or some superficial slant. These completely irrelevant stats just help them make feel better about their choice.

I shake my head disapprovingly when I see those "Since 1993, Team A has had a [blah blah blah] when playing Team X" too

plus its a lot easier than actually looking at all the stats that actually effect game, very easily accessible, bunch websites with all kinds of mindblowlingly crazy trends I would never think twice about,

sat biggest play for me looks like its gonna be stanford or maybe army, although line looks suspiciously low for #1 rush/y/pg vs #124 emu vs run/y/pg but havent really looked into it yet, just from brief look, im about to start looking deeper into the games I like now....

sun biggest play gonna be new orleans
