Green now at evens...
I saw V liked ricehouse in this thread, anyone else like him? Why you all favor ricehouse??
Imo I think there is value on green around evens now, but I don't know too much about Ricehouse other than he's a pretty slick grappler and green's weakness in the past are sub grapplers (but then again he's fought a couple sub grappelers as of late who are much more accomplished than ricehouse in that department)...
But man, rice has decisions against pretty 'meh' comp seems to lack experience fighting anyone of worth, combined with green's wealth of experience against better comp and a well roundeed skill set leads me to think there is some nice value on green and at this point.. with regard to Str8 up plays, might be the best line out there right now. From what I've read the picks on this match are pretty mixed in the prediction articles - people backing rice say he's gonna get green down and run a grappling clinic, but green's wrestling background could keep this upright to sprawl and brawl and I also don't rule out the possiblity of him laying some nice gnp from top positon. I guess I haven't seen enough of ricehouse to make me believe he's a submission machine that is a legit threat on the ground to green... What am I missing?

Maybe Punisher can shed some light on this as I may be talking out of my ass, but how would it hold up in court if Zuffa did start naming people who were apparently viewing these torrents/streams or whatever? Surely they could just claim that it wasnt actually them viewing it but somebody else using there computer?! It's like these people who are getting screwed over because they put things on twitter or facebook which gets them in to trouble...surely the easy way out is to just say.."oh it wasnt me, I was facebook raped"?!Comment -
I like Ricehouse but I wont be playing him basically due to the points you have referred to which is his lack of experience in comparison to Green and not having a true understanding of either fighters skills. I say this because Green has fought on short notice so many times that it's hard to gauge just how good he actually is. Again this fight is reasonably short notice and that is Green's specialty - he is Showtimes go to man when they need another fight/fighter on short notice. I believe he fought Dan Lauzon on a days notice for Affliction and the Gesias Cavalcante was short notice yet still took it to a very close decision. Fact is we haven't seen Rice step up on short notice and fight before so this may effect him.
With regards to the grappling, I guess people are saying Ricehouse will have his way with him because he beat Couture (who has proven he is no bum more recently after beating Conor Heun impressively and then Duarte), and then beat a submission specialist in Bill Cooper who is a BJJ black-belt and won Grappler's Quest numerous times.Comment -

from my limited knowledge of these type of cases, it would be extremely difficult for zuffa to succeed against the individual users. this is why the music and movie industry rarely went after the end users, but instead sued the service providers and the p2p networks. with respect to the end users, they would generally send a cease and desist letter to scare them, but would rarely sue the user because of the difficulties proving that said user was the actual infringer. in short, it isnt worth their time to go after the little guys. as you noted, its too easy to pull the "it wasnt me" excuse, especially with the existence of wireless internet. i mean, what are zuffa's damages against the end user? $50 bucks a month in damages. lol. they probably pay their lawyers $500/hr. it simply isnt worth the time to police the little guys, except maybe a quick cease and desist letter and hope the person stops infringing.Comment -

Is it not surprising why Rousey has such a big fanbase? No wonder people got so upset with me when I said that I could easily beat Rousey in a "fight". I was blowing their fantasy.
