Who is Brunson and why is he fighting a monster like jacare??? Looking at his record and I'm not impresed by any means, but I'll admit I don't know the least bit about him... Is jacare justified at -475ish???

Curious who you think is the better fav here... considering Kaufman's success against wrestlers in the past I think she has a semi-decent chance to keep this upright and knock rhonda around, but seeing how she likes to clinch that could spell disaster when fighting a judoka like rhonda and there is no doubt in my mind rhonda is getting that sub within seconds of it hitting the mat..
So I'm kind of leaning jacare as the better of two favs, no?? Would love some early insight on Brunson and a breakdown of this fight.Comment -

Brunson really is undefeated despite having a loss on his record. There is absolutely no way Grove won that fight. Brunson easily handled Sayers who is showing a bit of promise. He's a pretty solid wrestler. Goldberg would say he is athletic and explosive. His standup is pretty mediocre though, and he tends to go for takedowns out of instinct. I believe he does some training at Jackson's as well.
Jacare is obviously justified as the favorite, but in a 3 round fight, it's not crazy to see Brunson taking this. If Brunson has improved his standup, he can keep it standing most likely. When he gets in trouble there, he will likely go for takedowns and score them. With a proper strategy to steal rounds, it's not outlandish.
I just have an extremely hard time seeing a route for victory for Kaufman. She doesn't have great footwork. She often clinches in her fights. Rousey is faster. I just can't see her avoiding clinches and I just don't see her avoiding the takedown from the clinch. On the ground, Rousey rapes her. The fact that Kaufman isn't that big of a power puncher makes her chances even worse.Comment -
