Can't really say that, IMO. Julie is 1000x better than she ever was. Tate vs old Kedzie ends quickly and definitively. Kedzie has improved in every area.

It's illegal in karate tournaments and kickboxing but in mma i don't believe it's technically illegal, strikes to the knees happen often and I've never seen a ref stop the fight and call foul or warn the fighter. It's a very dangerous move when applied properly it can completely tear knee ligaments. But this is mma and technically you can break your opponents arms , legs , joints and be considered victorious.

Then i don't understand why it is not more commonly used. Jones was doing it vs Jackson plenty during the fight and Jackson was paralyzed by it. I mean if it can stop you from getting possible permanent dammage from opponent and getting you to win the fight, I don't see why it is not used more frequently.
