i never made a thread telling people lavar is a lock... lavar was far from a lock lol i just liked his chances better-- i never went all crazy telling people it's a guaranteed win, like you did with shalarus and maldonado.

It seems true to me, cause walking in here, I can hardly remember how I built my bankroll, but I can't stop thinking of how I lost it."

I don't know how other poker players feel, but I've never been like that. The bad beats fade away, especially when you're playing thousands of hands a day. But, I still think quite fondly about the biggest cash game pots I've ever won, and the first time I made a WSOP final table was magical, and I irritate my wife with those stories quite often. I can't even recall how I got knocked out of the WSOP last year or the year before.

Most losing bettors don't keep records, and they're like waitresses (if you've ever dated one), they think they make $300 a night because they remember the night they made $300, and forget all the nights they come home bitching about getting stiffed.

I'm a nobody, really. I am primarily a non-holdem player, primarily not a tournament player, I follow the tournaments around and pick up the easy cash game money. If I was a professional poker player, I would have no problem telling people. Don't see what the harm is. It's not like anyones opinion on here is ever published in the media or news. Who cares. It's actually something to be proud of and ppl would definitely show respect, at least I know I would. But of course all of this remains to be seen if there's no validity or verification. The point is more that something I wouldn't do is boast about making a WSOP final table, but refuse to tell ppl who I am when asked. Don't even bring it up then, no one cares. And how is that a lame analogy, it's exactly the same concept dude.
