#1542This is how i know nobody here trains shit. Do you think they let little kids run around where grown ass men are lifting heavy ass weights? This aint some planet fitness shit, you think they let ALPHAS in there dropping weights?
When I say "kids" I mean 125lbs cardio bunnies like thejosh who are there to take a boxercise dance course.
This aint some high school lacrosse game where a bunch of rejects from the football team twirl around there batons like "oh this is great, it feels like I actually have a dick for once!". This is the hurt business. Grown ass man shit.Comment -

#1545Everything I do is ALPHA. When I drive my car on the way to the gym I BLAST my beats with the windows all the way down. When I'm at the gym and I'm finished a set I drop that shit cause everyone in the gym needs to know I lift heavy weight. After I'm done my workout I go into the locker room and undress. Then I put my foot up on the bench captain morgan style right in some kids face. Sausiche all up in his face while towel myself off. Nobody ever says shit.
Thats ALPHAComment -

#1546Won big on JDS ML + JDS by KO/TKO but lost a bit on JDS in Rd 1.
Down pretty big tonight, but was much worse before the main event.
Not sure how I feel about Friday's card... I know who I like for the main event, but I think betting on the TUF fighters could go terribly awry...Comment -

#1548highly doubtful that smarty is the same person as defacto. defacto has a much more evolved troll game. you can clearly tell he's spent time refining his game, whereas smarty is your run of the mill, entry level troll.
the thing i find amusing is the symbiotic relationship that the two of you seem to have established. its cute.Comment -

#1551LOL.... some funny shit I'm reading in here...You guys can hate on these two guys but I think smarter / de facto are quite hilariousI know some of you hating on them have also secretly laughed at their banter... They're just busting your guys' balls, you all should get a laugh and appreciate it as some sick and stupid humor rather than get upset or defensive. They've talked shit on me and I think its a fuckingg riot, its all in good fun really - its those who go on the defensive that makes the tone 'serious'. I bet a lot of people in here would hate the show 'Eastbound and Down' which imo is a genius filthy humor show... Most of these guys' banter is uncalled for but nevertheless I know some of you can't deny its hilarious.. Gabe I know you got some laughs, even with smarter's bash on you, don't deny it... My appreciation for them might make my character look bad here, but I'm just being honest and I've gotten some good lols from the past couple pages in this thread!!

We're talking about fighting kid. The hurt business. We don't go and prance around on a field after putting on our helmets and pads in case we fall over and scrape our knees. You wouldnt last 10 seconds with me, doughboy. If you even wanted to try we would have to get a consent form from your mommy in case I crush your larynx with a rape choke.
Who knows, maybe one day you will be sending mmajunkie fan letters about my "chiseled glutes" without even realizing it.Comment -

#1561I wouldn't waste my money on Chiesa, he's garbage- Responds poorly to being hit, no set-up behind his takedowns, has very little understanding of timing and distance with his strikes, slow as shit. etc.
Vick had the right idea in the first round when he fought Cheese. If AL doubles up his left hook a few times to the body he finishes this shit within 7 minutes.

#1562I'm not impressed with the opposition Al has beaten. I think he lost the first 2 rounds against Jury, fight shouldn't have gone to a third. And I had the fight against Pichel a draw... Ogle is a 145er fighting at 155 for the show. So is Jury. So he's beaten to 145ers, one who I believe he lost 2 rounds to...
On the other hand, Chiesa has beaten two of the guys I thought would win the show.
If the lines were at +EV, I wouldn't play this fight. But getting Chiesa at +200 or better, why not? He's never been put away, has the wrestling, ground game, the will, the drive, and most importantly the heart.
You can say a lot of the same for Al, but the value is certainly with the big dog.Comment -

#1563I might look to slightly insure myself with a Chiesa by submmision prop- Flukey sub is the only way I see him taking this.

#1565I was considering a play on Perez as well. I'm just concerned that Albert will be too big and overpower the smaller Perez. I thought Perez looked pretty solid in his most recent fights. Hoping Perez gets back to around +180Comment -

#1566I expect Greg Jackson to provide him with a solid gameplan to beat the fast-gassing John Albert. Anything could happen in the first round, but I think Perez could take two and three. Won't be surprised if he wins the first, either, by points or finish. Dude is tough.Comment -

I would put albert as a favorite, but only a slight one, -145 ish.. so perez now looking tasty after researching and setting my own line.. Perez beat much much better comp too it seems like. Weird how you can favor one guy and consider paying the juicy odds on him but then after a little digging you have the complete opposite opinion and are playing the other guy. Initially albert stuck out as a top play to me, now I think perez is a top dog play.

#1568Agree... I don't wanna question albert's cardio because he went 3 with dodson, but in an intensive fight I think its still a question mark, and this should be an entertaining and intensive fight with a little bit of everything I think. If he makes it out of the first round perez' chances go up a lot I think. GL.Comment -

#1569Can't see Albert gassing like he did against Ivan. He made a rookie mistake blowing his wad in an attempt to finish. Albert's performances on the Ultimate Fighter show and finalewere very impressive. With that being said, I think Perez is just as dangerous if not more dangerous a young prospect in the 135 pound division than Albert is. As gabe said, under the guidance of Greg Jackson, this could be a coming out showcase fight for the very live dog in Perez.Comment -

#1571yea like i said not an intensive fight, dodson just danced around and shot here and there for 3 rounds, was too quick... this will be intensive, much like the menjivar fight and I gotta favor the cardio of the guy who has seen the 3rd a few times.Comment -
