Dimes has a different system than other books. It doesn't take much. They bounce around like ping pong balls the first few hours, then settle.
Opening limits are very low - no damage can be done significantly on either side (books, players). Pretty much just helps them accurately readjust. Line sets itself eventually. Smart on their end.
Off recent memory, the only one I can remember Dimes being quite a bit off on was Chad Dawson +200 (boxing). That one is quite different now as we approach the bout (October 15th). Should have opened pick.

He is better than saunders skillwise i believe, at least standing, eventhough he has some reach to cover. And he is a black belt as well. Its probably the name recognition that makes him the underdog. Sportsbook +160, yes please.Comment -
the clinch worries me as well. As Santos is a brazilian muah thai champion he should be familiar with clinchwork but also when to apply and when to stay away. I really hope he understands and planning to not engage in a clinch with saunders at all costs. i still think this fight is 60 40 in santos favor, and +160 deserves a bet in a parlay. From where i stand, i think Saunders defense is lacking, and he does not use his reach very well, which is quite disappointing. The guy def. have potential.Comment -
I really like Santos at +155 or better... he's being underrated here against Saunders. I think it does have a lot to do w/ name recognition and from Saunders coming from the UFC w/ those clinch highlights. Sapo is 50-6 (which is pretty amazing in mma, although I know he's fought some scrubs) and he's very well-rounded. He won me a nice payday against Hornbuckle and I expect him to do get a decision win over Ben. The only way I'd fade Santos right now is if he goes up against an elite wrestler that will neutralize his game. I think jorge is a live dog and I think paying maia's juice str8 up is way too risky, but maia's stand up looked phenomenal against munoz and taking into account jorge's chin, I like that ko/tko play at +1100
