Was it me or did they play like crap? Still think it was a good bet, either the +1 or the dnb, Chelsea were nowhere near their normal standard but Newcastle were even worse.

UFC featherweight contender Chad Mendes will be charged with battery in connection with a bar brawl last month. Mendes will face up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine if convicted. Local Hanford, California news site The Sentinel first reported the news.As reported last month, Mendes sucker punched a man in front of local police after a bar brawl at the Lacey Inn Bar and then fled the scene after leading the police on a foot chase. Mendes has maintained that while an incident did occur, the majority of the facts in the case are false.
Mendes was nearly indicted earlier this month on more severe charges after the sheriff’s office was unable to contact the fighter after the brawl. The California native stated he was not trying to evade the sheriffs at all, citing that he was in Ohio for his teammate’s, prospect Lance Palmer, fight.
Mendes was last in action at UFC 148, where he defeated Cody McKenzie in the first round with a body punch.

I didnt get to see it mate as I was at SW4 festival in London all day, but yeah heard Newcastle were pretty uninspiring. Probably wont stop me from being on them against Villa next wknd at home though. Darren Bent is having some personal issues as it turns out his cousin who he is close with has been robbing dead people (he's a policeman) of their money and stuff, and has said that all the shiit he robbed were gifts from Bent! So think he's gonna be a little distracted in near future which isnt going to help Villa's shitty cause!

Im actually not tht surprised...though I expected him to be nearer to Evens. There is a lot of Sass hype right now and Wiman is always undervalued because he isnt well-known and never in the spotlight.

Yeh they did. Was very surprised when we are still a month away from fight day.

There is a lot of hype indeed and Paddy have clearly looked at the fighter records and put more emphasis on that than the fighting styles imo.

Think Wiman is a very tough matchup for him. I do expect a lot of money to come in on Wiman at that line and the fight ending up around even, maybe with Wiman as a fav. Should then be able to hedge out and have a free bet on Wiman.

That is the plan anyway! Will be shocked if the line stays the same or even moves the other way though.

Pretty nasty. My mate had an accident in the south of Thailand when we were out there, looked quite similar - he was on the back of some Thai girls' scooter and she swerved when a dog ran in front of them. He would have been hurt a lot worse, but in his words he "used her sort of like a human surfboard". Brutal stuff.
