Dila Gori lose 1-0 so +1.5,+2 hits, Hannover clear the -1 handicap with a 5-3 win, and Hapoel Tel Aviv and Lazio both win comfortably for a close to perfect night had the Dnipro PK bet not been a push. yeah had asians on a lot of them in the singles etc.. don't like using them to much in parlays, been burned by a few late goals to kill the handicap and parlay in the past.

Yeah same, just stick with moneyline and PK in parlays for the most part now...like it's a good job I had Apoel PK as they only scraped a draw despite being -200 favourites agaisnt Neftchi.
I've already locked in Everton PK at -105 against Villa this weekend. Villa have one of the weakest teams in league on paper. Obviously Everton had the perfect performance against Man U and highly unlikely they'll repeat that this wknd, but even if they perform at 50-75% of how they did against Man U then they could still at least get a draw against Villa. Also tempted to bet the under as Villa have nothing going forward...jus reliant on Darren Bent and at the back I think they miss Dunne despite him being a donkey! Stephen Warnock is being made to train with reserves as well so he is out, and Hutton is also on transfer list (though he isnt a big loss as I dont rate him). But still that's 3 of there 4 main defenders from last season not in the squad. Betting on the draw might be the smarter play, 6 out of last 7 between them have been draws including both games last season.

-105 is a great price.. was thinking the exact same re Everton Vs Villa but hadn't got round to betting it. Looks like im stuck with -130 ish. tempted by the 0,-0.5 @ +112 don't see villa being competitive really so a draw (0-0) is the only small worry.. idk, talk me out of it :P

Just checked, it was -110 that I got it at on Paddy right after the Man U game...but it was at -105 just before but changed. Still, seems I got it at good line as you say it's averaging -130 to -150 range now (best you can get is -120 on Ladbrokes).
If Bent wasnt playing then I'd also play tht handicap...only thing that would push me in to trying to talk you out of it is that record of 6 draws out of last 7! But then on the flip-side of that, players like Dunne, Collins, Hutton, Warnock, Petrov, Albrighton and Agbonlahor all played in both of those games last season that were draws and none of them will be involved in the game on Saturday (as far as Im aware Gabby and Albrighton are still injured). To me it seems Lambert is just relying on his squad getting by by just being hardworking, well organised and determined with youth players that have come up through the academy in Lowry, Bannan, Clark, and Baker then other younger players like Delph, and Weimann. But those attibutes are exactly what Everton are known for...they are one of, if not the most, hardworking, organised, and motivated teams in the Prem under Moyes. They've got by for years and overachieved despite having a small squad, and now they have a good mix of youth and experience as well as some legitimately talented players (unlike Villa). Everton had guys like Ross Barkley, Heitinga, Coleman, Naismith, Anichebe and Gueye all on the bench against Man U...Barkley and Coleman are great prospects, Heitinga is still a Dutch international and Naismith, Anichebe and Gueye can all do a job. Then you look at Villa's bench against West Ham...Bannan, Lichaj, G. Gardner, Weimann, Herd, and Burke...there is no comparison!
If you do play the -0.5 handicap, you could hedge with under 2.5 or something as I really cant see Villa scoring goals in this one, especially after seeing how solid Everton were at the back against Man U. As you say, there only chance of getting something in this is if they hold out for a 0-0, or score from a setpiece or something and get a 1-0 or 1-1.Last edited by Vaughany; 08-23-12, 05:11 PM.Comment -

+400? Shiiit didnt notice that. Can get +1 A.H at +105 as well which is also very tempting (just put 50 squid on it). Newcastle beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last season as well...drawn 2 won 2 at Stamford Bridge in last 4 games! West Brom +1 at +110 is also tempting, though I guess Adebayor will be playing for SPurs which changes things a little. West Brom haven't lost by more than 1 goal in last 5 games at White Hart Lane. And SPurs are missing Modric and Parker a lot, and now AVB has gone and got rid of Huddlestone and dropped Dawson which makes no sense!
Might play both at equal amounts, sure at least one of West Brom or Newcastle can get a draw minimum
