    Jibby
    AKA Thors Buddy's Kid (TBK)

Entering Friday's CFFC 91, the promotion's featherweight title didn't have a belt-holder. In the card's main event, Pat Sabatini changed that with a slick, second-round armbar submission of fellow regional veteran Jesse Stirn. After a dominant first round,…

he is coming Jibby. I know i have said that for a long time but it is coming. He threw up about four submissions before he landed that. He got derailed a bit fighting in his home town three fiights ago and lost a fight similar to the Ben Henderson Pettis fight where Ben got arm-barred. He never tapped but the ref called it after watching a Joe Thiesman type of situation. How he came back from that so quick i still can't believe and has had his two best performances to boot. I know you are a big fan Jibby so i will keep you posted.

Rooting for him! A CFFC title is a big deal. Hopefully we'll see him on DWCS or something similar at some point.

I was driving to work when i heard so i dont have much info but i will later tonight. I called hiss dad once i got the info and said WTF when were you going to tell me. He said “i just heard ten minutes ago”. I just hope he didn’t get in over his head with a terrible weight cut. I wanna watch some film of his opponent and see what i think. What you know of the guy Hugo and if you are not doing anything tonight check his opponent out and let me know what you think.

I have fight pass an i dont know why but can only watch 1 fight of Alves where he looked pretty good. Throws a lot of wild shit and looks like a front runner. I thought the kid he was fighting was gonna beat him but he caught him with a punch i think he just threw with his eyes close and it luckily landed it. I think my buddies kid has to beware of those knees. I can’t believe another friend who trains with my buddy Cris Daukass is on this card. He has been a cash cow for me. I really like watching his brother tho Kyle.

He has to cut 18 pounds which is a lot but a lot better than i thought it would be. Kid is always in shape and cardio, strength are a big part of his game. He is like that 155er that just retired when he gets on top of you

I will give my honest opinion about this fight. I won’t let me being good friends with his father dictate my opinion. I don’t like giving away my cash for any reason.

I like Sabatini's skillset enough to take a 1u shot on him at these odds. His opponent is pretty good though. Alves is a superb athlete who is dangerous in all phases. I think Sabatini will need to hit takedowns and maintain control to win here.

I think he gets it to the third he will have a great shot. Don’t underestimate his ju jit game. I have seem him sub many of black belts. I seen him get caught once by a shot an his composure was incredible. I just hope something fluky doesn’t happens. This could turn out to be a terrific fight. I remember guys doubting me when Sean Brady had his first fight. Someone said he was nothing special. I said we are gonna see about that. Brady is a beast and all these guys train together. When Fielder was coming up he was one of Pats main sparring partners. My only knock on Pat is his knockout power but his hands are solid.

Yeah Brady has been very good. I think he has a higher ceiling than Sabatini.

If Sabatini can get takedowns in this fight, then he is very live. I think Alves is the better striker though, especially when he is fresh. Sabatini has better cardio and more heart.

By Fielder do you mean Paul Felder or someone else?

The latter Hugo. Every time i type it my iPad changes it. As for the ceiling we will get an idea Saturday. Brady had a little rough time his first ufc fight but that is expected for most. Brady gets better every fight. I like where Pats head is. He is one confident kid. Originally i was just gonna watch it but i am up this week so i will let it ride on him while watching it. One thing i am worried about is something weird happening for this like Alves getting Covid or a low blow. Weird things happen with Pat. I am pretty sure Pat had covid so we dont have to worry about that.

Well Alves missed weight by 12 pounds. Sucks for Pat hopefully he gets an easy fight on an upcoming card.

Guessing Pat won't have a choice and the commission will step in. Alves really should be cut, no excuse to miss by that much.

Alves what a prick. Not sure why he was trying to fight at Featherweight. He is a big LW. Sucks for Sabatini. Hopefully they get him a new opponent for an upcoming card.

Not one thing about the fighter he just fuked. Now Pat takes the high road and thanks his coaches and everyone he can think of for being there for him. I hope this fuk gets wrecked at 155. Fuker knew he was going there after this fight.
