^^^You guys are silly making excuses for why Rousey got lit up... Nunes lit up Miesha Tate the same way... Nunes has the boxing and hits hard, she's hard to grab and take down...Rousey never had a chance standing in this fight.. Her only chance was to ground Nunes which she couldn't.. Ref saved Rousey from another brutal knock out by stopping that fight when he did...

That outcome was certainly not what Dana White wanted or the UFC owners... Ronda is a HUGE draw and her stock just plummeted...

Very few women throw straight punches from range with any degree of power. Nune's does, and they're fast, accurate and she catches opponents right at the exact end of them, full extension. Basically, in laymen terms, she punches more like a man than any female MMA fighter I can think of. She has that Tommy Hearns build, that lankiness that produces rattling power.

Magny didnt really damage hendricks that much, the most significant thing that happened was the takedown. I dont know if elbowing someone for 5 seconds win you a round. Fight sucked overall, really bad fight.

Rousey looked like some amateur bum off the street. Didn't even fight back. Took punch after punch to the face.

Rousey fixed that fight. Took a dive. Nobody with 12 months to prepare for a fight looks that bad unless they are only there for the payday and taking a dive.

I bet Nunes and Dana White were in on it. Nunes destroys her and now she can be marketed as the next great champ. Ronda walks away with $$$$ knowing she was going to retire anyway and probably start a family.

UFC is becoming more fixed than boxing. The only fights that are legit are the under card fighters trying to get to the top spots.

I say all this having not bet a dime on this card. Glad I didn't.

Ronda did well when her weight division was shallow. A lot of the women Ronda fought weren't training properly. They were very one dimensional. Ronda had advantages coming from an olympic background and knowing how to train somewhat properly, that made her look better than she is when she was fighting subpar competition.

Holly Holm came along and completely outclassed Ronda standing. Holly Holm exposed Ronda.

Rather than admitting her boxing wasn't as good as she thought it was, Ronda blamed having to do a lot of interviews and media for her loss.

Thus Ronda did zero media leading up to her fight with Amanda Nunes. She blamed the media, not her lack of boxing skill for her loss.

Ronda came back and Amanda Nunes outclassed Ronda again.

I don't think it was a fix. More an example of what happens when people live in denial, refuse to admit facts and make the same mistakes.

I was on Magny and I still thought Hendricks got robbed.. Rounds 1 and 2 were his Fire... He was pounding on Magny on the ground, walking him down all fight, and was in top position in both rounds 1 and 2..

Those triangles at the end of the rounds were never threatening and all show...

I'm still a little pissed about the Dirty Bird NC... I really thought Dirty Bird was a lock in that fight over fake Cowboy.. If he didn't land those knees he would have won that fight anyways..

Yep, that's right. I think she also avoided the media because she didn't want to get clowned on social media after the fight. I didn't see a single interview where she said that she was going to beat Nunes' ass, or how she was going to do it. I saw one where she said she wanted to spread cookie body wash over herself. She just went through the motions of the whole thing - easy $3 million. God I wish I had bet against her, it all seems so obvious now. It's easy to get persuaded by media and other MMA bettors betting up Ronda's line or saying how much they're betting on Ronda to make you think there's something you don't know. In reality, there is rarely any "hidden information" with MMA. It's all there for you to see and make your betting decision.

For me, damage is more important than control. That said, not much happened in the fight but I felt Magny had the bigger moments.

Agreed round 1 was the closest round I gave the slight edge to magny for damage , round 2 Hendricks just smothered him and won then round 3 i though magny pretty clearly won= 29-28 a robbery imo is somebody who wins all 3 rounds and doesn't get the decision in a close fight like this there's no robbery whatsoever.. if Cruz won the decision you could call a robbery that's about it for the main card fights that I seen

Yeah the term robbery is way overused. Bochniak-Barzola was a robbery, fights like Hendricks-Magny or Saffiedine/DHK are not.

Overall a small loss on this card but basically a wash. Could have been much worse without hedging. Won on Garcia KO, Magny + Decision, Saffiedine + Kim Over, and Full Card Props. Lost on Thatch ITD, Smolka, Lineker, Cruz, Rousey, Straight Parlays, and Multi-Event Parlays. Hit Hedges on Borg Decision, Dillashaw -3.5, Garbrandt Decision (+1455), Nunes KO + R1 to salvage the night. Also cashed DK Double Up again. I'm starting to get a feel for those Double Up Contests so I may start to do a few more units on them in the future. On to Phoenix!

Since December 30 til now... 11 wins, 2 losses and a push... If we are show and telling on our SBR bet history since Dec 30.. Alot of wins are ML bets so the W/L totals are kinda inflated in sense..

I am rowing down stream with my daily betting and I can't complain..... Have the Packers tonight on the ML for 500 SBR bet points pending still but not feeling good about this game so far.. Might lose it, AR looks like crap with incomplete passes and he's getting rushed so far..
