I thought overeems fading chin would be a problem, even though i liked his striking. I therefor passed while slightly leaning Miocic because of his durability and if he would hit overeem we have seen so many times how he responds. I think miocic was the correct play or a pass, before the fight took place. It also proved to be correct. Sometimes pass is also is a good bet, when you then saw what happened your statement look outright foolish. But, exactly what was critized about overeem happened in the fight.....but still the correct pick was overeem? Sound pretty stupid. No, it is stupid.

Just a plain KO from a receding chin that has been beaten up since 1999.

Thoughts on UFC 203:
Overall a good night which returned a +13.4u profit. Big winners were Medeiros + Submission + Round 2, Werdum -3.5 + Decision, Rivera -3.5 + Over 2.5 Rounds + Decision, Gall + Submission, and Correia Decision. Big Losers were Overeem ITD + Rounds, Gonzalez, and Lentz Decision. Also hit a (+2014) parlay of Correia Decision/Rivera Decision/Werdum Decision which was nice. Will likely continue to fade reigning champs ITD at decent +odds. No complaints about how everything turned out and I did feel a little lucky that Correia got the splitter from Eye in Cleveland. For next event I'll post my Draftkings Double Up lineup since my tournament lineups have been garbage of late and the Double Ups have cashed two weeks in a row. Still getting the hang of that stuff but I'll learn eventually.

I was very hit and miss then caught fire with the big bets, Mickey Gal Sub and ITD and Werdum wins.. Would have done really well if Reem would have closed the deal but it wasn't to be..

Can't complain made a few bucks on this event but nothing special.. I lost a little bit in that last Euro event so this makes up for it.. Batting around .500 overall in the last 2 UFC events.. I'm a bit disappointed in my play... Been busy lately so I'm just a tad lazy with capping.. I need to step it up..

Overeem could've punched but guys he has 60+ mma fights he doesn't have low fight IQ ... Sucks he lost because I love the reem but his main weaknesss is his chin and there's nothing much he can do to fix it ..

he has 11 guilittoine victories in his career and you could tell stipe wasn't to rocked since he put his hands on the mat as he fell from the straight ( prime example of being rocked but not to damaged ) overeem seen the neck open and went for it and failed .. 90% of the time a necks that open he finishes that fight , if he tried punching his way through that I'd say it drops to less then 90% Imo.. Stipe has a big ass head and neck and fought out of that choke like a champ not much you can do really , ubereem woiodve popped his head off like a cherry though but the right man won here .. Regardless Cain beats either imo
