That was the biggest farce of a decision I've ever seen.
How do you continue to bet UFC after that?

#4i am kind of a ufc square and only bet the big fights, lost on Gus and Hendricks. i like to bet certain, very specific, underdogs to beat the old famous guys, so maybe i am exactly the wrong kind of bettor for UFC, lol

#7It is the worst decision I have ever seen. What 3 rounds did GSP win?
And then he blurts out that he is too busy to fight for awhile so goodbye for now.
WTF????????????

That being said, it was a pretty terrible decision, which is par for the course in MMA.
Keep in mind that UFC doesn't get any say in who judges the fights, it's from the athletic commissions and their backgrounds are typically in boxing. Maybe they valued Georges jab highly (lol), who knows
Anyway, I won money being a square and on Georges, but it's pretty damn hard to make a case he won that fight. I have to eat a lot of crow for thinking Hendricks was a one trick pony. He stuffed takedowns, got takedowns of his own, and was competent enough on the feet. Very impressive and I feel bad for him, even though his screwjob made me money.Comment -

#12That was pure BS, I'm still steaming, but I'm up for the night, my biggest plays were Woodley and Cerrone. Bad judging will go in your favor sometimes (As you can see from some of the posts.), it's your job as a bettor to not let it tilt you too much when it doesn't go in your favor. There's a few robberies every year, even if you're on the wrong side of all of them, if you've been doing good betting the other fights, a few bad beats shouldn't stop you from making $$$.Comment -

#22I was surprised Dana didn't tweet something after the fight about the judging. He almost always does when it's a BS scorecard.
I think it's possible if we go back and break down every round to make a case for Georges, but watching it live 100% screwjob for Hendricks.
This isn't even close to the worst decision I've seen recently either, that's how off-the-wall MMA judging is. At UFC 166 CB Dolloway won every round convincingly against Tim Boetsch but had a point deducted for eye pokes or something.
The scorecards were 30-26 Boetsch, 27-29 Dollaway, 30-26 Boetsch.
Like how the penetrate is that even possible. You're telling me these guys are even watchin the same fight when two judges give all three rounds to Boetsh and the other gives all three to Dollaway (-1 for eye pokes) ????
Dollaway was wrecking him that whole fight too. More significant strikes, more total strikes, 3 takedowns to none.
And no I did not have money on it at all.
That was the biggest screwjob I've seen recently and no one even cared that much cuz they aren't big names and Dollaway is generally considered a douche.Comment -

However, I took GSP ML huge.... and I actually said if I were a judge I would give it to Hendricks.

I had the moneyline as well and was resigned to defeat pretty early. After round five I was convinced it lost but my only hope was knowing how stupid MMA judging can be.
I also had a small play on GSP winning inside distance which is basically just throwing money away at this point. Dude does not have KO power and I haven't been impressed by his BJJ in years.Comment -

#25Here's the scorecard:
So pretty much comes down to who you gave the first round for... and keep in mind Georges had a takedown this round and sometimes those are weighted very heavily (not that I agree)
Definitely gonna have to rewatch the fight once it's posted up online.Comment
