    Newbie question

I am new to bitcoin. I only opened an account with Coinbase, because my Sportsbook only does payouts in bitcoin. I did the first withdrawal without any problems. When I entered the second withdrawal, I use the same BTX address as for the first and because of that, it was rejected.

So what is the story with a Bitcoin address and can it be reused or do you generate a new one for every transaction?

    Thank you.

Yes it can be re-used many times. But if you do that it also makes your, and the senders, activity more easily analyzed. So some businesses insist that you supply an unused receive address every time. Which I assume is what has happened to lead to this question.
