After an all time high for Bitcoin at $60k. The market is predicted to go into a Dead Cat Bounce. Something like $60k to $48k to $30k.

Hard to predict future trends now with bitcoin but I do like trend following. If that's the case then sell now and wait and then re-invest when it dips back down to 30,000. I'm not sure I see that happening. Lot's of free money flowing out there and people are still using and investing in bitcoin with confidence.

I still see it trending up or I'd sell now. I'm gonna wait it out for a month and see what fly's and sticks..

*We're approaching L4 months of the 2013/2017/2021 cycle. Go look and see how BTC (and LTC) did in those periods.

I think one has to have some skin in the game over the next 4 months and just live with the results.

Both worthy of investment? Preference for one over the other? Do you view them as competing for the same space?

Problem with cardano, the developer, Hoskinson, has reputation as someone who makes promises and doesn’t deliver, with some narcissistic traits, and embellishes without being honest...Sept 12 will be the true litmus test for Ada...until then it’s just promises. Solana has already proven itself. So at this point I’d say SOL and ETH are safer bets, if ADA can successfully roll out this month, the inflation is much lower than ETH or Solana so potentially makes for a better investment. My view is if allocating according to risk, ETH 50% SOL 25% ADA 25%

It does seem that way doesn't it? I always assumed a genius along the lines that hoskinson claims to be or presents himself as wouldn't be so petty in worrying about what others thought but I suppose hype and fervor go a long way in this day and age

That's a good distribution. ETH and ADA have been my two biggest long term holds for years. Not long ago, I added everything ADA. Right now today, SOLANO, their ecosystem and NFTs is the place to be. EGLD and DOT would be the other two ecosystems to watch.

Marked ETH/BTC to Fibronacci target at 0.081, taking profit there, hopefully BTC keeps going and price is higher, assuming BTC 48-50k its a ETH 3.8-4K PT

SOL on a crazy roll. Passed up DOGE marketcap. Keep an eye out if the volume starts to slip. The price will slip if the volume starts going down. Went up too fast today. Volume is a key indicator although not 100% since volume can be manipulated. I don't fully understand this "Ignition" event, it may be playing a roll in the price surge. The best way to put it, personally I wouldn't jump in now but holding is fine. SOL NFTs are a different story, like them either way.
