When bitcoin is exploding, it is probably not a good idea to send/receive.

Use bitcoin cash or another crypto when bitcoin is spiking as the blockchain is usually very congested at these times.

yeah it's a double whammy of slow times to get confirmed, and price fluctuation

even though i'm hodling some, i would much rather see stability and decent times

and for the newbies, keep in mind btc has lost over 80% of its value 3 separate times, so it's not for the faint of heart... it should probably be higher than this but a month ago it was 16k so if you're in it for the long term don't put more in than you can lose... otherwise you might sell at a loss on a downdraft
