He is likely referring to stake.com but wouldn't recommend for US residents. For USA betcoin.ag

      Betcoin

Hello, I’ve been using Betcoin for nearly 2 years now and wanted to post a review just because I haven’t seen many posts about it and the couple I did see, I thought were unfair and didn’t do the site justice.

      Positives:

Deposits: There are 9 options of crypto to deposit. Personally I like to use others than bitcoin to get a fast confirmation and funds availability.

Withdrawals: There are the same 9 options for withdrawals. While the withdrawals aren’t instant like some sites, most are approved with 15 minutes. The longest I waited was about 4 hours but that was in the dead of the night so I find it understandable.

Live betting: This is probably the biggest positive it has going for it. I’m a huge tennis fan and enjoy betting on that and I think there are no sites that can match what Betcoin has to offer here. There are more available matches (ATP, WTA, ITF, and Challenger) than anyone else I’ve ever used. They also have way more different markets available within a certain match so you can bet on a variety of things.

Monthly Bonuses: They’ll review your account every 30 days and give you a bonus based on play. Even if you are winning you’ll still get something. These amounts are pretty fair and better than other sites I’ve used

Support: The support team is very responsive and most issues are taken care of within 15 minutes. They are reasonable and don’t just have the generic robotic response.

NFL Promo: Every year betcoin has an NFL promo. The thing I love about it is that it’s a weekly promo and with the site being a little smaller there is a lot less competition which allows you to actually have a chance. The prizes are very good and I really think more people should take advantage of it.

      Negatives:

Live betting odds: There currently is no accept any odds button so while betting it can take a bunch of tries to finally get your bet locked in. It also doesn’t happen often but at times you can get locked in at unfavorable odds. This is my least favorite part of the site and I wish there were some improvements on it.

No Cashout bet option: There is also no cashout bet option which can be really frustrating if there are delays in matches.

Pre-match betting: I’m not a huge fan of pre-match betting due to the times it takes to settle bets after the fact. It isn’t terrible slow but after matches you can expect 5-15 minute delays. If you bet the same match live, you’ll be settled nearly instantly.

Overall, Betcoin is a good site that has a lot going for it. It is a little under-appreciated and I think more people should be aware of what it has going for it.

If you are currently playing at Betcoin, then you are fine. New customers shouldn't sign up in the US. Betcoin is a little better version of Stake. Betcoin's been in business since 2013, they are safe.

In what way is betcoin better?

They have exact same lines/margin on nba
Stake has significantly better lines/margin on NFL

Bonuses and VIP rewards on Stake are light years better than Betcoin, its not even comparable.

Stake has instant withdrawals, Betcoin is definitely not instant, my last withdraw took 2 hours

User interface/functionality not even close.. Betcoin site is just a pure jumbled mess.

Stake was one of the first and biggest crypto gambling sites (Prime Dice)

Im obviously passionate about Stake, cuz its by far the best book ive ever played at through the years. But you follow me around thread to thread to try to shit on them. Its weird.

But, please back up your point here, Im anxious to hear it

Droopy D I agree with you that Stake is better than Betcoin, but not by a whole lot. For me Stake is the same as or better than Betcoin in every way except for deposit/withdraw options - Betcoin accepts more cryptos. I like the idea of using other cryptos besides btc due to high network fees and slow confirmations.

Ideally these bitcoin books will start offering stable coins like BUSD USDC DAI USDT TUSD PAX so that you're basically betting in US dollars or at least the closest thing possible.

Agree about a stable coin option, it definitely should be added for the guys who dont want to sweat price fluctuations.

Stake accepts bitcoin, ETH, litecoin, ripple, bitcoin cash, tron, EOS, doge

btc and eth are not an option for me right now as the fees are too high. The main reason I use bitcoin books is to be able to withdraw my balance or winnngs right after an event is graded etc. I think for the most part btc books know this, there is no reason why i would ever keep say .1 btc on a bitcoin site when my bets are $50 - $250max.

I think sportsbet.io offers USDT or another stablecoin tied to the US Dollar. I'll probably start using that while btc fees and price fluctuations are so wild.

Betcoin, Stake, and Playbetr are similar sites. If you are worried about price fluctuation, then use Playbetr since their default currency is PBR, a stablecoin.

Both US banned but you are grandfathered in at Betcoin. I play there. Betcoin is a little better version of Stake. You can deposit in USDT at Betcoin.

Sportsbet.io offers USDT and other coins like TRX and XRP.

They also pay all withdraw fees on every currency (including BTC), which is pretty generous.

Betcoin support told me that since my account with them is a few years old, I can still play there (although I rarely do).

                                Info on PBR
PBR Coin is a digital stable coin, which is tied to the value of the US Dollar. It was created by the Playbetr team to give players an opportunity to gamble in cryptocurrency without experiencing the volatility of other coins. PBR is built on the ERC-20 Ethereum network, which allows for the utmost transparency and security in your transactions.
                                Playbetr is safe.

Betcoin has a better line and more markets live as shown above.

Live chat faster at Betcoin. Not a big deal here but there's a public chat at Betcoin and I don't see one for Stake although I may be missing it.

Betcoin, Playbetr and Stake are all similar. Personally, I think Betcoin is best, then Playbetr if you want to keep your balance in a stable coin.

Based on reading the thread, the answer appears to be neither for USA players. Fair statement?
Betcoin management say they definitely do not want USA based players signing up using a VPN to get around their terms, and will penalize anyone caught.

I don't know about Stake. But it looks like a risk to ignore it too based on their terms to me.

All I can say is I know many people in the US that play at stake. They don’t actively look for it. The only one who ever had issues was dumb and verified his account with US documents. And he did that voluntarily because verified accounts get a small extra bonus.

They shut off his ability to bet. But his balance was never frozen or winnings taken away. They don’t confiscate funds. They lock your account to where your only available action is to withdraw.
