I'm looking at the premium package it $79.99 it comes with all the games, can watch games on IPAD and my iPhone and computer when I'm away from home. Who has this? Any thoughts is it worth the investment?

Next year, look Father's Day weekend. I hopped on it this year and got it for $50. They also have an early bird special too I think.

I've had it the last couple years and it's definitely the best option for following an out-of-town team, but keep in mind that they black out every team within about 300 miles. Can be really annoying if you live on the east coast or in another area with a lot of teams nearby.

I am currently using the cheaper version to test it out. MLB At Bat 2012. I really like the local radio broadcasts for every team. The video quality on the free game each day is impressive. I will likely subscribe to the full version next season.

Buying it through Direct TV is the best.

I've done Comcast, MLB.TV and Direct TV and I say Direct TV is the best.

Quality is great, but the thing that sucks is pretty much every game on Saturday is blacked out due to the Fox national broadcast.

It's worth it but a lot gets blacked out.

Anything on Sunday night is automatically blacked out (SNB and Rangers home games), a lot on Saturday is blacked out, and I lose all Yankees and Mets games (over 13% of the games played).

Buffalo area gets Pittsburgh, Cleveland, NYM and NYY blacked out. Now that is a lot...

At least you don't live in Hawai'i.

I live in Hawaii. Obviously this makes it a tad difficult to either attend games or watch local broadcasts that are over 3000 miles away. Apparently though, MLB.TV cares little about that teeny tiny issue since they prevent me from watching every single Los Angeles Dodgers game live.
Yes, that’s right, apparently the entire West Coast collection of MLB teams are blacked out in Hawaii.
                                  —–
MLB.TV originally informed me on Friday that I was blacked out from watching the games of five West Coast teams. On Saturday though, after being instructed to call back and talk to a supervisor, I was informed that I was actually currently blacked out from the entire West Coast and then some, a total of nine teams.
The shift in the number or location of the teams doesn’t make it any more or less stupid, since it’s just as realistic for me to watch or attend a game in New York on a daily basis as it is in Los Angeles. However, the fact that it only got worse with clarification from a supervisor was so pathetically stupid to me that I couldn’t help but sigh and feel sorry for the support guys who had no logical answer for my common sense questions.
All he could do for me is apologize about the idiotic policy, so doesn’t that indicate a problem with the policy itself if your own employees have no idea why the hell it exists?

Yeah but with MLB.tv I can watch 4 games at once (smartv, iPad and laptops). That's huge.
