I'm oppo on your Braves pick.

I see the Braves bats possibly outscoring the over themselves. Each hitter has a great average against the 'bad Hudson'. Plus, the 'good Hudson' struggles at home and is going against a scrappy D-backs team that has been fairly hot of late scoring more than 5 runs in its last 6 games. Add in the Atlanta heat for today's game, which could lead to some fly balls being gopher balls.

LT my book is offering Brewers/Reds U8.5 -105 and Dbacks/Braves U 8-125. You think they are worth it at this price? Any input will be good, thanks.

This is when LT starts losing b/c of all the guys jumping on his back subsequently dragging down his record.

Isn't the purpose of posting plays is that others can benefit?

HTX isn't saying that people shouldn't be tailing but just pointing out that when everyone starts getting on the money train is usually when variance kicks in and the person posting plays goes on a bad streak.

How would people tailing his picks drag down his record?

                      Its correlation, not causation.

I've never understood there to be any rational basis for "variance". That's like people that bet "red" at a roulette wheel, because "black" has come up 20 times in a row. Makes zero sense.

In fact, when it comes to tailing cappers, the WORST thing to do is jump on/off when you think they're hot or cold.

Honestly, I'd pass at those numbers. Have to have 9 on Reds and wouldn't lay more than -115ish on Braves at 8.

Amazing hits on the Cards. But I had a feeling the hot hitting Braves couldn't be kept at bay against the woeful 'bad Hudson'.
