–Atlanta right-hander Kyle Davies posted a 6-4 record last year in 14 starts that included a 2-2 road record and 4.58 ERA in seven starts.

–The one-year veteran has never started against the Giants in his brief major-league career.

–San Francisco gives the starting assignment to right-hander Matt Cain, who went 2-1 last year with a 2.33 ERA in seven starts.

–The 6-foot-3 hurler made his major league debut last year, and has never started versus the Braves.

**Red Sox (Clement) at Orioles (Cabrera)**

–Sportsbook.com installed this American League East matchup as a ‘pick,’ with the total set at 9 ˝ ‘under’ (minus $1.15). This game is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. ET.

–Boston’s Matt Clement gets the starting nod after going 13-6 last year with a 4.57 ERA in 32 starts. The 31-year-old posted a 5-2 road record last year in 15 outings along with a 4.20 ERA.

–The righty went 2-0 against Baltimore last year in five starts, surrendering a combined 14 runs (12 earned) on 26 hits with 13 walks and 20 strikeouts over 32 2/3 innings.

–The towering 6-foot-7 hurler went 1-2 versus Boston last year in three starts, going a combined 16 innings while surrendering nine runs (six earned) on 15 hits with 11 walks and 18 strikeouts.

This could very be a 5-3 Braves win, or a 4-4 extra inning game. Stay away from this game unless you love better UNDER, which I don't and wouldn't recommend in this game.
