I like Bernie but is that the best the Yanks can do for a DH?

How old is Bernie Williams? And if I saw correctly he is batting like 7th or 8th . You have your DH batting at the tail of the order?

bernie is 38 years old, and should have retired a few years ago.

grant it the yankees line up is perty damn good. i think the yankees probly resigned him for fear of him heading to the bosox.

His best years are way behind him and he retire. I have no clue why the Yankees brought him back.

Or, it could be because Steinbrenner is loyal to the player who is the all-time postseason homerun leader, and was a central cog in bringing four World Championships to the Bronx. Or maybe it is because Bernie is a great clubhouse leader, and basically the mentor to Robinson Cano.
No way in hell Bernie Williams would ever go to that bunch.
Oh, and it's not like his numbers are going to be any worse than the average #8 hitter.

Bubba Crosby is my 8th hole hitter (DH) on MLB 06 The Show. Batting very well to may I add.
