C- Jeff Mathis. starter for angels. showing great stats spring training.
1- Adam Dunn. Obviously drafted him mid rounds for his homers.
2- R. Cano. A yankee and is pretty good.
    3-C. Figgins. Steals(62) and runs.
SS-Tejada. well duh he does it all in a shallow position.
OF-Francoeur. he was great last year and will be awesome this year. lights out in spring training
OF-B. Giles. Tailing down but got him in later rounds and he is still good all around.
OF-Dye. Got him for homers. Had 31 last season
U-Dellucci. homers once again. Had 29 last season.
    Bench:
Sweeney. Is great when healthy. A big if.
    E. Encarnacion. Have a fantastic spring. got very late to see if it carries over.
Delmon Young. In minors but drafted for 2nd half run. Will be lights out.
    R. Adams. Underrated SS having a nice spring training. Gives me tradebait in tejada.
Matos. Having great spring training. Big power numbers so far.
Gibbons. Last pick of draft. Can show power at times.

    Pitching:
    F. Cordero. Saves
    F. Rodriguez. Saves
    T. Jones. Saves
    C. Carpenter. Need I say more. Wins, ERA, WHIP, Ks
Smoltz. Was awesome last year and just added to more pitches. Near unhittable spring training.
    J. Lackey. Improved throughout the year. Puts up monster strikeouts.
Bedard. Great 1st half but got injured and not so great 2nd half. We all know who Balt just hired as pitching coach.
Oliver Perez. Strikeout master but was hurt much of last year. Got him late in a steal.
    Byrd. Having nice spring training.
Duchscherer. Striking out everyone in spring training. good for ERA and Whip and if street goes down will be great 4th closer.

Only 1 pitcher was over 4 ERA last year and that was Perez who was hurt. I have 122 saves between my main 3 closers. Figgins will be a stealing machine but could use one more good base thief. Always up for trades.
Jose Molina is the Angels starting catcher. It'll be 70-30 Molina..

Jeff Mathis (hand) went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored Sunday. He is now hitting .360 this spring and will open the season as the Angels' everyday catcher.
    (Updated 03/26/2006).
Mathis is a solid flier at the position in any Fantasy league. The long-time catching prospect is taking over behind the plate for a contender. It's rare a championship-caliber team trusts a young catcher, which should tell you something about Mathis' potential.

I would be shocked if Mathis a rookie catcher started over the veteran. Obviously it's possible but Molina has actually had a better spring than Mathis as well.
