I love each and everyone of my Red Sox friends, but I've also told them countless times that Sox Nation takes things way too far and way too personal, in my opinion. Of course, more than one of them has reminded me that I still harbor distaste for the Cubs due to an incident way back in 1962
Anyway, thought I'd post some of the signage that was up at Fenway last night for your entertainment...
I'm growing tired of the 'priceless' signs we see, but I liked this one. Gotta' love the fact she had to change her dog's name from Damon to Youk!
There were a lot of modified Damon jerseys like this one. Funny thing is, they said businsess was brisk at shops along Yawkey Way selling old Damon shirts.
This one would've meant more if Crisp wasn't on the DL.
One Sox fan decided to remind Damon of his "never play for the Yankees" quote from a year ago. Of course, he's seated next to a blondish, Boston Irish who doesn't know much about loyalty himself since he's sporting a Dominican jersey from the WBC.
I loved this one since this Boston fan chooses to focus on what the Sox have instead of what they don't.
Not every Red Sox fan booed Damon upon his return.
