Like that will ever happen...if the goal of all this was to pick to two or three games every day that lose in the 8th inning or later, I would be rich...unreal. What are you looking at today? Not too much out there on the bases today. Perhaps an over look in Colorado, an under in St. Louis, an expensive play on TB, another expensive play on the White Sox...ugh...not liking the rest of today's card right now. Maybe it will grow on me. Anything I'm missing?

I need to finish my NCAAF and NFL cards. I have those two college plays I locked in the other day and I posted three new NFL plays for Sunday/Monday a few hours ago.

FWIW, I really like the Tampa play....I played it -1 to save some juice. Like the Angels under to a lesser extent. Maybe Arizona but that's about it.

I think you have 2 good plays going so far. TB is expensive, feel like if you like Tampa today have to at least take a look at the under. I like Toronto a lot, but too expensive. I think they light this Vandenhurk kid up, extreme fly ball pitcher, roof probabl open BOOM (maybe over consideration) Alvarez had a good debut but is very green. Don't have a strong feeling about the ST. Louis/Atlanta game. My book has the Col game at 11 still, was actually considering the under.

My model has this one at 7.5, so I don't really see an value at the current number. Even though Wolf has the lefty advantage over the lefty challenged Phillies, I cannot back Wolf in this spot with as well as the Philly is hitting right now. Wolf's advanced stats are mediocre and his history against the Phillies is poor. I think you should be fine from a Cliff Lee perspective, but I just can't put my money on Wolf right now.

I am definitely rooting for you now that I know your on it...I hope you cash that big A3 ticket!

I am full on fading the Bucs here. You have Sanchez starting against a lower class lefty prospect Jeff Locke. Generally, I don't like going against a starter where the opposing lineup is unfamiliar, however, in this case I'm a full go. I expect the Marlins to build upon their offensive outburst of yesterday against Locke and his mid to high 80's fastball. Stanton will be in the lineup and the Marlins will be hacking. The Pirates have struggled offensively and they are going against one of the better pitchers from an advanced stats standpoint. Plus, Sanchez has fared well in the past against this Pirates lineup. The Marlins have the better starter, the better offense and the better bullpen today and I'm rolling with the Fish for 1x.

Yankees/LAA under (7)(+100) 1x (Locked)

My model has this one at 6.4 and I'm going to take a shot here. The Yanks are not hitting well right now as evidenced by a BAA against rights in the .200 range in their last ten games. I expect Haren to continue that offensive sluggishness today in Anaheim. Haren has had some success against the Yanks with a BAA of .246 and OPS in the .600's against this lineup on a whole. I expect him to step up to the challenge thrown by Weaver yesterday and he will not want to be outdone by CC. Haren needs to pitch well and bounce back from a beating by Texas and I think he gets it done. On the other side, CC needs to start pitching flawlessly for the Yanks to find continued success. He has been solid all season and there's no reason to believe he does not give us a quality start. Both bullpens are fully capable of keeping the runs to a minimum and I expect that to be the case with these playoff contenders. I expect a playoff atmosphere just like yesterday's' game and I'm rolling with the under for 1x.

Here are my thoughts on the first MLB plays for today. Still considering a few plays. We'll see...
