I appreciate the optimism, I wish I had any. In my opinion concerning the ledge, we have already jumped and already falling. Our last chance is superman swooping down and grabbing us 1 foot above the ground floor.
What's your 20 brother? Dusting off the old cape...hopefully I get there before you get all Humpty Dumpty.......

Do you pitch? The Jays are going to need a shit ton of them. Report to Toronto.

P.S. Morrow is uncanny though whenever I start to approach a comfort zone with him
Positive energy.. Positive.. Only positive. I placed the Jays wager at my book that I've been doing well with as they had the best line at the time I got to this wager minutes before game time.
So lets hope its lucky for us all.

Unreal. Chad Beck, you have first base open and you're grooving shit to LaRoche?
Just fukking stupidity. How the fukk are some of these guys in the majors with absolutely no clue how to pitch?

Damn that blow hurt. I was starting to feel some momentum if we could have gotten through the 3rd there.

Best to write it off now and then be pleasantly rewarded I guess.

If that rookie didn't hang that ridiculously awful pitch to Laroche, we would be sitting pretty right now.

Depends on who the Jays are going to throw in the game.

Nats getting the first two batters on base in every inning. No runs since 3rd inning though. If we can make it through the 7th though, I think the odds will be in our favor again.

Probably too late now bro, but I would buy out......too many mediocre relievers to be seen still. The Nat's probably won't have Clippard tonight and may cough up a couple before it is said and done...hoping not of course.

Putting in Cordero is the Blue Jays saying they don't want to win.

I would be plenty happy with a push since Yankees are looking promising but we still have a shot at the under..

The Detroit tigers just opened at -120 for their game against the Cubs. Scherzer vs Maholm
I expected this line to be -150. Very confused, Scherzer has a 2.81 difference between his ERA (5.88) and SIERA (3.07). Maholm's tERA is 5.00 and his SIERA is 4.23. Not to mention the Tigers have a better lineup and are coming off the morale boosting comeback win against Aroldis Chapman and the Reds. My book hasn't got a run line for this game yet or I'd be all over it.
edit: nevermind I just noticed how poorly the Tigers hit leftys and how well the Cubs hit rightys. Fair line

it's a road game. I'd be all over it even at - 160 in Detroit but I don't like backing anything on the road with Sherzer
With that being said, put your mortgage on Verlander in game 3. That'll be a shutout. That's an absolutely horrible matchup for Chicago because of their free swinging ways. Verlander will strike out 10+

Tigers offense is hit or miss at times. With that said, being the the Cubs are knowing to choke away games and give up runs, I would consider it ...

Well, 5 vs 7 isn't a huge difference - they're both terrible. Truth be told, it's not a bad play. Anything fading the cubs is not a bad play, but I'm more focused on backing Detroit when they have Verlander going in game 3
With that being said, why is Sherzer giving up so many hits this year? I don't remember ever seeing somebody who had such a phenomenal k to bb ratio, yet terrible numbers otherwise. What in the world?
